Atlanta, Georgia. The highlight of his ra s winning The City of Los Angeles Marathon twice.  After his second win,
At age 19, as he was serving his second year in the United States Army, a car accident left Bob Molinatti paralyzed from the chest down. Several years later, while attending Cal State Long Beach, he was introduced to wheelchair racing. While earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism, he became a recognized wheelchair athlete. His achievements continue to inspire and encourage other physically challenged individuals to pursue their athletic and academic dreams.

A  two-time member of the Paralympic Team, Bob raced for the USA in Seoul, Korea and again in Atlanta, Georgia. The highlight of his racing career was winning The City of Los Angeles Marathon twice.  After his second win, he became the wheelchair race director for the marathon and then was invited to do the color commentary for the chair division.  His experience and insight earned him a spot on the Emmy Award winning annual broadcast team for the L.A. Marathon.

Bob's charisma and natural talent have led to broadcasting jobs at other well-known events such as The Boston Marathon and The Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta. His most prestigious work thus far was WE Media's simulcast of the 2000 Sydney Paralympics for FOX Sports Net, PAX Television and the Internet. For six years, he also hosted/co-hosted ESPN's "In Pursuit", a program that highlighted disabled sports.

As a public speaker, Bob has inspired groups small and large. At his largest speaking engagement to date, he followed General Colin Powell with a motivational lecture for a crowd of 1,000 at Buick's Royal Purple Council. He has also spoke for numerous civic groups including Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis Clubs.

From Australia to Switzerland, Bob's athletic and business-related travels have taken him around the world. In Ecuador, he was a spokesperson and team member with Momentum International, a non-profit organization that supplies medical attention and affordable wheelchairs to disabled people of South America.

Currently, Bob resides in Southern California. In his free time, he enjoys handcycling and often participates in local and national events as an athlete or announcer.
