As the saying goes: membership has its privileges. Mr. McMahon proved that to the world during the premiere Sunday Night Heat when he introduced the newest announcer in the World Wrestling Federation family—his son Shane! The only son of the Federation owner promised to bring a new attitude to the announcer’s table—none of the same old @#$%! Accompanied by two beautiful women, Shane assumed play-by-play duties with Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. While his personal makeup consultant ensured that Shane looked perfect, the tortured soul Edge took on Double J in the first match. Tennessee Lee was at ringside to help Double J, but in the end the promoter accidentally tripped his own protégé, allowing the angst-ridden newcomer to get the pin. This did not please the country singing sensation, who was clearly angry with his promoter after the match. After the break, it was time to break it down! The King had an interview with Triple H and X-Pac of DX. Lawler announced that Mr. McMahon has ordered a match between Triple H and X-Pac on RAW IS WAR, with the winner getting a shot at The Rock’s Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam. HHH did not seem overly concerned about the match, as he was more interested in the "titillating" action at ringside, and he coaxed at least a few women to expose themselves. After a glimpse at Droz’s World the man they call Puke was in action, teaming with the Headbangers to take on Kaientai. Before the match got underway, Val Venis entered with Yamaguchi-San’s wife. The two couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the match. Perhaps they figured the night would be their last opportunity—last week on RAW IS WAR, Yamaguchi-San promised to "choppy-choppy" the adult film star’s "pee pee". The threesome from New Jersey had the size advantage, and Darren Drozdov won the match for his team after a powerbomb on one of the members of Kaientai. At ringside were two stars of the USA Network series Pacific Blue—Mario Lopez and Amy Hunter Cornelius. After the match an unfortunate incident broke out when Val Venis came down, shoved Lopez out of the way and tried to impress Hunter Cornelius. An angered Lopez jumped over the ring rail, tackled Venis and a brawl ensued at ringside before Federation officials broke it up. European Champion D’Lo Brown put his title on the line for the first time against the "World’s Most Dangerous Man", Ken Shamrock. Fellow Nation member Mark Henry accompanied D’Lo to the ring and seemingly to even the odds, Dan Severn and Steve Blackman came out with Shamrock. But when D’Lo was outside the ring, he shoved Severn, provoking the Beast to come into the ring after D’Lo--causing a disqualification! Shamrock was enraged, but luckily the Lethal Weapon was there to calm things down. In a match to determine who would face Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker for the Tag Team Championship on RAW IS WAR, former champions Kane and Mankind took on the co-leaders of The Nation, Owen Hart and The Rock. While what Jim Ross described as a "Pier 6 Brawl" was going on outside the ring, Owen slipped in under the ropes, barely beating the 10-second count and winning the match!

RAW IS WAR RESULTS (AUGUST 3, 1998 FROM SAN DIEGO)
Fresh off their win over Kane and Mankind the previous night on Sunday Night Heat, The Rock and Owen Hart demanded their shot against World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker to open RAW IS WAR. The titleholders obliged--until Kane and Mankind made an appearance! While the Phenom was occupied with Paul Bearer's tandem, the Texas Rattlesnake cleared Owen and The Rock from the ring with a steel chair! Flanked by Bikini Contest winner Jacqueline, "Marvelous" Marc Mero was set to face Golga of the Parade of Human Oddities. However, Sable made an appearance to accompany the "Eric Cartman" idolizer to the ring! In a surprise announcement, the femme fatale announced she had put her rivalry with Princess Luna behind her, and stepped aside as Kurrgan and Silva serenaded their "Miss America"! According to Sable, she found the Parade to be "very nice people" once she got to know them. When Jacqueline tried to interfere in the match, Luna brutalized her nemesis--leading to an all-out cat fight! With the referee in the middle of the two ladies, the giant Silva chokeslammed Mero, opening the door for Golga to get the win with a cannonball-like move. After the victory, the Parade celebrated with their new entrance music performed by the Insane Clown Posse! Prior to a second-round Brawl For All bout pitting Scorpio and the Godfather, Dan "The Beast" Severn announced he had withdrawn from the tournament because he had nothing to prove. Then, the Nation played Santa and offered the Hardcore athlete to take the night off with his "ho ho hos" rather than face him! Scorpio chose the match, and ended up losing all three rounds and the bout to the Las Vegas native. The self-proclaimed "soon to be Federation Tag Team Champions," the New Age Outlaws stared pure evil in the face in a match with Kane and Mankind. While the lights were out, Road Dog and Billy dragged the Boiler Room Dweller outside the ring and pummeled him to start the contest. All-out bedlam soon erupted, as both teams took turns smacking each other with steel chairs! Following a double-suplex, the Outlaws appeared to have the pin on Kane, but Mankind latched the Mandible Claw on Billy! With Road Dog by his lonesome, Bearer's son Tombstoned his foe for the win. Prior to his match with Double J, Hawk of LOD 2000 apologized to World Wrestling Federation fans and Titan Sports for his actions the previous week on RAW IS WAR. Although he failed to explain his disposition, he asked everyone to forgive him. After a commercial break, Hawk hit the ring and beat Jeff Jarrett with a neckbreaker despite interference from Tennessee Lee. While Animal congratulated his partner on the win, Southern Justice attacked their foes from behind--leading Droz to make the save for his friends. To open Warzone, Federation owner Mr. McMahon entered the ring with Patterson, Brisco and Slaughter. The boss discussed the alleged "conspiracy theory" he thinks exists between the Undertaker and Kane--reviewing what he called suspicious "coincidences" involving the brothers! McMahon challenged the Phenom to come out and prove him wrong, and was obliged by the superstar. However, before the Undertaker could speak Stone Cold hit the ring, ripped the owner and stated his partner could have both titles because he was only interested in whipping his ass at SummerSlam! While the Rattlesnake exited, the Undertaker told the champion that he was only playing into McMahon's plan to divide them, and invited him to come back in the ring to take his tag team gold. The Reaper then announced he would watch Austin's back--UNTIL SummerSlam! In a match to determine the number-one challenger to The Rock's Intercontinental gold at SummerSlam, fellow DX members Triple H and X-Pac faced off! With Chyna by their sides, both superstars entered the ring together, but unleashed unholy hell on each other after the bell rang! Hunter concentrated on his friend's neck with Irish Whips and neckbreakers, but X-Pac remained determined. However, in a surprise move Chyna ended her neutrality by decking Pac--allowing Triple H to get the win with the Pedigree and the SummerSlam shot against The Rock! Looking for vengeance against Val Venis, Yamaguchi-san sent Teioh and Togo to face the adult film star and Taka Michinoku. However, during the match the Light Heavyweight Champion attacked his own par tner! While Kaientai took turns annihilating Val, Taka pointed at Yamaguchi's wife and exclaimed it was his SISTER! Following a commercial break, the Japanese stars were seen dragging Venis into their locker room and produced a sword before they ordered Federation cameras out! Later, as RAW IS WAR went off the air, Federation officials busted in to find Val stripped bare--and Yamaguchi-san about to take a horrific swing at his crotch with the weapon! For a further update on what happened to Val, tune in to LiveWire this weekend! Claiming he was wrestling the match under protest, European Champion D'Lo Brown faced former UFC champion Dan "The Beast" Severn. Just after the bell rang, fellow Nation member Mark Henry came down to support his partner, and was followed by "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman. However, all hell broke loose when Ken Shamrock came down and assaulted D'Lo and Henry--leading to a disqualification for Severn! As Blackman attempted to calm the former UFC foes, Edge appeared from the darkness to attack the European titleholder! Wealthy Indian superstar Tiger Ali Singh appeared on RAW IS WAR, claiming American women would do anything to make a dollar. In a show of the power of his wealth, Tiger paid a fan to take off her clothes--only to offer her cold hard cash to stop the humiliation! According to Singh, there's no limit to how low Americans will go to earn what we cherish most--money! World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions Stone Cold and the Undertaker lashed out at The Rock and Owen Hart, but the Nation co-leaders were able to damage the Rattlesnake with quick tags. While the Intercontinental Champion looked on with a busted nose and bloodied lip, the Calgary native seemingly had his foe out cold with a sleeper. However, Austin battled back and tagged his partner who issued a chokeslam to Owen! After a brawl erupted on the outside between The Rock and Stone Cold, the Undertaker hit Hart with the Tombstone for the victory. Following the bout, Mankind attacked and placed the Mandible Claw on Austin--only to have Kane accidentally hit the Boiler Room Dweller with a chair. After the Outlaws hit the ring, complete chaos broke out between all six superstars!

FULLY LOADED RESULTS (July 26, 1998 on Pay-Per-View)
***How fitting it was to start off "Fully Loaded" with adult film star Val Venis! Before the big Val-bowski could let his trouser monster out to play in California, Tennessee Lee interrupted the superstar--clearing the way for Southern Justice and Double J to make their entrance. However, while the referee was ordering Canterbury and Knight back to the locker room, Kaientai manager Yamaguchi-san ran down and joined JR and the King for color commentary. During the bout, Val was attempting to go for the "Money Shot" when Jarrett blocked it, only to get kicked back into the referee. With the official down, Lee knocked the adult film star from the top rope, allowing Double J the opening for a figure four. Instead, Val escaped and shoved the country star into his manager-knocking Tennessee off the apron-and rolled up Double J for the win. Following the match, Venis ripped into Yamaguchi-san, claiming his own wife said he would never measure up to the adult film star! Apparently once Godzilla tore through her she couldn't go back to Barney the Dinosaur! ***The sex symbol for an entire continent of unshaven women, European Champion D'Lo Brown, took on DX member X-Pac in a non-title match! During the encounter, Brown missed with a moonsault from the top, allowing X-Pac to hit his foe with a spinning kick and his "Bucking Bronco" maneuver. The DX member was on the roll, but the Godfather reversed his fortune by interfering in the match. With X-Pac distracted, the moral leader of Europe hit his foe with the "Sky High" powerbomb for the win. ***Prior to his tag team match against Scorpio and Faarooq, Hardcore Legend Terry Funk announced that the encounter would be his last match for six months or more in the World Wrestling Federation, as he needs some time off to rest. His partner Bradshaw was visibly mad, but competed in the match regardless-even taking to the air to hit Faarooq with a shoulderblock! However, after a miscalculation between Funk and Bradshaw, the Hardcore Legend was left alone in the ring with Scorpio-opening the door for the high-flyer to nail his former partner with a 450-splash from the top for the win. After the brawl, Bradshaw attacked Funk, flooring him with a clothesline! Faarooq and Scorpio tried to make the save, but the superstar repelled them with a chair. Hell hath no fury like a big pissed off Texan who turned his back on a hardcore icon! ***The "Battle of the Bulls" was up next as Vader faced Nation strongman Mark Henry. Clearly not a battle of scientific expertise, both monsters unloaded a barrage of power moves throughout the contest. Henry took the early advantage with a big slam and an elbow drop, but Vader would later answer with a splash from the second rope. However, the "World's Strongest Man" powered out of the pin, and subsequently powerslammed and splashed the Rocky Mountain Monster for the win. Despite the loss, Vader failed to treat the viewers to another obscenity-laced interview following the match. ***Prior to the start of the DOA vs. LOD 2000 match, Kane and Mankind joined Paul Bearer for an in-ring interview. The fat man questioned the whereabouts of the Undertaker, who had yet to arrive at the arena for the main event. While spit, fat and sweat poured from the manager's mouth, the New Age Outlaws entered the arena and challenged the Tag Team Champions to a match on RAW IS WAR. Before the round mound of goo could answer, Road Dog and Billy attacked their foes-resulting in a brawl that took several Federation officials to separate! ***Armed with a new manager in Paul Ellering and the power of his computer, 8-Ball and Skull faced off against LOD 2000. Animal and Hawk nailed their foes with power moves to start the contest, but the three-man trio of the DOA and Ellering wore down the Chicago natives. On the outside, the manager viciously attacked his former proteges, putting the boots to the superstars he brought to fame. The LOD would later come back to hit 8-Ball with the Doomsday Device-but Skull made the save. Ellering would then jump to the apron, only to be attacked by Animal. However, after the superstar turned around Skull hit him with a DDT for the win. ***Following the tag team bout, Mr. McMahon and his stooges addressed the crowd concerning the status of the Undertaker. The owner stated that in the event the Phenom failed to appear, he would appoint the Brooklyn Brawler to team with Stone Cold Steve Austin in the main event! The Brawler?! W.T.F.?! ***With cameras broadcasting the action from Stu Hart's Dungeon in Calgary, 1998 King of the Ring Ken Shamrock battled Owen Hart amidst four walls, concrete, weightlifting equipment and special referee Dan Severn! The youngest Hart gained the early advantage by ramming Shamrock's skull into the wall, and even put him in the Sharpshooter! Ken refused to quit, and escaped the hold only to inadvertently nail "The Beast." With the special referee down, Owen smashed the King of the Ring with a barbell, and used Shamrock's own hand to tap out for the win. Despite the underhanded victory, old man Stu had to be pleased with the beat down his son gave the UFC fighter. ***In a two out-of-three falls match for the Intercontinental Title, champion The Rock defended against Triple H. Well into the match, the referee offered a great deal of leniency by allowing the superstars to whip the snot out of each other on the outside. With Triple H down, Mark Henry snuck down to the ring and dropped all his weight on the DX leader with a big splash before being run off by Billy Gunn. Add to that a shot to the head with The Rock's Intercontinental Title, and Hunter's ass was lookin' like 250 pounds of chewed bubblegum. Next, the Godfather attempted to make his way to the ring, only to get stopped by the Outlaws. @#$% then got completely out of hand as European Kingpin D'Lo Brown tried to interfere--only to have Triple H clean his clock. However, with the DX leader distracted The Rock was able to nail his foe with the Rock Bottom for the first fall win. At the opening of the second period the champion hit Hunter with the People's Elbow, only to see the DX leader kick out of the pin. Triple H returned to the ring with a steel chair, but The Rock stole it and accidentally wiped out the referee. Smooth move! With the official out cold, Chyna entered the ring and hit The Rock with a DDT on the chair. Thanks to the Ninth Wonder of the World, Hunter won the second fall. And in the final fall with less than thirty seconds remaining in the contest, Triple H was able to put The Rock in his Pedigree. However, time ran out on the challenger-resulting in a draw and the Nation co-leader retaining the Intercontinental Title. Following the bout, complete mayhem broke out between DX and the Nation! ***In the much-anticipated "Bikini Contest," Jacqueline made her way to the ring accompanied by "Marvelous" Marc Mero, revealing more of her bombs than she perhaps planned! After the former Intercontinental Champion's love interest disrobed, Sable took off her shirt-only to reveal a very conservative outfit. The femme fatale explained that Mr. McMahon ordered her to wear it, but that she didn't believe in his views. To the delight of every warm-blooded man walking the earth, Sable let her birthday suit hang loose-with only painted handprints covering her .38 specials! After Sable won with a resounding ovation from the fans, Mr. McMahon entered the ring and covered the beauty with his jacket. ***In the main event for the Federation Tag Team Title, the Undertaker finally appeared much to the chagrin of one or two Brooklyn Brawler fans. As the Phenom and Stone Cold Steve Austin went face-to-face in the aisle, Kane and Mankind attacked their opponents. During the contest, the Undertaker and the Rattlesnake were anything but thrilled to team-resulting in the champions battering their distrusting foes. After a brawl ensued on the outside, Stone Cold manually parted Kane's cranium with some steel chair whoop-ass, but the fat man's son was able to kick out of the pin. The titleholders would then double-team Austin until he planted Kane and Mankind with Stunners. After a moment of hesitation, the Undertaker tagged in and hit his brother and the Boiler Room Dweller with chokeslams-and subsequently dropped Bearer's son in the Tombstone Piledriver. The Man from the Dark Side covered Kane for the win-resulting in NEW WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!
