The Major League Lacrosse League was created on May 29, 1999 and is the first and foremost professional outdoor lacrosse league at the moment. Even though there is another professional lacrosse league (The National Lacrosse League) this league holds more promise due to the fact that it is an outdoor league. The National Lacrosse League is for indoor lacrosse only which is entertaining to watch but not as fun to play as outdoor.

The League was formed with the support from major companies as Reebok®, Warrior® Lacrosse, Body by Jake®, and SFX Entertainment®. It also has a few prominent lacrosse players backing it as well such as John Gagliardi, Mark Millon, and the amazing Casey Powell. Eventually I'm going to have a short biography on each one.

The League made it's first publicity tour on July 12 of this year. started Long Island then stopped off in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Blatimore before reaching it's primary destination, College Park ,MD, for the NCAA tournament action. The only other way that I know of them advertising is in the pages of The Great Atlantic Lacrosse Catalog.
