TOWN HALL MEETING STILL ON
Oxford United supporters group FOUL (Fighting for Oxford United's Life)
has insisted that the planned open meeting at Oxford Town Hall, arranged
for Tuesday 9th February at 7.30pm, will still take place, despite the
announcement of United's Managing Director Keith Cox's resignation. Cox
was due to address the meeting and take questions from the audience,
alongside Oxford City Council leader John Tanner.
However Oxford's new owner, Feroz Kassam, has been in touch with FOUL
and has promised that either he or a representative will attend the
meeting in place of Cox. FOUL has also sent invitations to United's
current owner Robin Herd and new MD David Bower to attend the meeting.
