ALL STAR WEEKEND UPDATE(2000-01 SEASON)
The Clippers were the only team to have three players in the Schick Rookie Challenge on All-Star Weekend in Washington, D.C. Quentin Richardson led the rookie team with 20 points and a game-high 14 rebounds and Darius Miles was the game's most exciting dunker, making seven and missing two. He scored 15 points and had eight rebounds. But it was Clipper second-year man Lamar Odom who led his team to a 121-113 victory with 12 points and seven rebounds
Another Clipper, Corey Maggette, competed in the NBA.com Slam Dunk presented by Real. The contest was won by Seattle's Desmond Mason. Maggette scored a 46 on a dunk following a forward flip.
