Upon leaving school I carried out an apprenticeship at Marine Plus in Picton New Zealand. Upon completetion of my apprenticeship I remained at Marine Plus for another 8 years working standard, Hi-Performance rigs such as ski race boats, Formula Two and Formula One race engines. Within this time Marine Plus's dealership was Mercury Hi-Performance, Mercruser and Mariner. Working within this industry the Hi-Performance product is my inspiration.
Every year during my time at Marine Plus I kept my knowledge up to date with traveling to service schools and Mercury Expo in Australia.
I recently set up my own business as a Mobile Outboard Technician & Boat Repairer which is proving successful and I have a forever increasing clientel. I rebuild Standard outboards up to 2.0 and 2.5 litre EFI engines depending on the application stock standard to full modified.
