( From 1980-81 Season...)
One of the young returnees from last season's Spartan wrestling squad, Bart Ah You saw spot action as a freshman...Posting a 2-0 dual meet record and a 2-3 tourney slate, Bart wrestled at four weights (134, 142, 150, 158)..."All he needs to do is quit growing," says Coach T.J. Kerr, "He came to SJSU at 120 pounds but will probably end up his career wrestling at 158." This year, Bart will wrestle at 142 pounds for the Spartans. A three-year letterman at American High in Fremont, Bart was a three-time league champion and CIF qualifier. In 1977 he placed 2nd in the North Coast Section at 95 pounds; in 1978 he was 3rd at 105; and in 1979 Bart was 2nd in the NCS at 120 pounds and finished 6th in the High School State Meet while being named AHS Athlete Of The Year. A business major, he enjoys bike riding, photography, and cliff jumping. Born 7-16-61 in Norfolk, Calif.

A returning junior to the Spartan roster, Bart saw plenty of tournament action in the 1980-81 season. Wrestling to a 7-9 tourney mark, Bart placed 6th at SJSU's Mumby Tournament.With a dual record of 0-1, his overall record was 7-10, with 2 falls.
