| Most of the Spartan Daily articles were gotten from the microfilms currently stored on the second floor of Clark
Library at SJSU. And some were sent to me by Russ Connelly. The accompanying photographs came out too poorly from
the microfilm printouts to make them worthwhile to use here. The text itself was just barely readable sometimes.
And so, the articles here are text only. |

It was an eerie feeling as i went through the microfilms to get these articles that the Spartan Daily was kind
enough to give us permission to use. My eyes were the first in decades to have read the articles again.
Articles about so many people working so hard for something that was important to them.
Articles about coaches and wrestlers who are no longer alive except now in these webpages.
These webpages are their memorials to their spirit and striving for excellence.
Here they are still alive in memory, dedicating themselves with so much time and effort to the sport of wrestling.
Here their names and what they did or tried to do is not forgotten.
