One day, i, the illustrious and worldly renown Dr. D. Horse, was helping Curt Sennewald, Athletic Equipment Attendant
and Towel Master, clean out lockers. Among the usual partly-used Speedsticks, bars of soap that were scary to look
upon, towels that were supposed to have been turned in but weren't, assorted bits of clothing, and this, that,
and the other thing, were wrestling shoes that had been left behind because apparently, they were no longer loved
and cherished.
Those shoes are no longer with us as they are now items to be found by future archaeologists while excavating through
the now-local landfill. But even though those shoes are gone, they are not forgotten... |
