The purpose of this archives website is to remember and document the people who were, in whatever way, a part of
Wrestling at San Jose State University. There were great wrestlers at SJSU, there were mediocre wrestlers at SJSU,
but all spent hours and hours of their lives literally dripping blood, sweat, and tears trying to master the sport
of wrestling. And there were the coaches and the assistant coaches who also spent hours and hours of their lives
trying to create champions. Or at least wrestlers who were better wrestlers. And there were the people, who were
not wrestlers themselves, but in some way gave of themselves to help the wrestling program at SJSU function.
This website is dedicated to the wrestlers, the coaches, and the supporters (athletic, of course) who were a part
of Wrestling at San Jose State University for so many decades.
Many images are not optimized so that anyone who wants to make hard copies of them will be able to get fairly decent
looking printouts. So if you have a lower speed internet conection, be prepared to wait some moments while the
images load in.
(If an image or webpage doesn't load in, just click reload or refresh. Every thing is there and functional but
the webhost sometimes is a bit slow or misses things.)
To view and print .pdf files, go and get and install the free Acrobat
Reader.
To open zip files, Windows users can either go to the same download link for Mac Users to get the free Stuffit
Expander for Windows or go to Nonags and root around in the
freeware section for whatever zipping program strikes your fancy.
If you're using Macintosh, Linux, or Solaris and you don't already have a program installed that will extract from
zip files, go and download the free Stuffit
Expander.
If you're using Windows and need an excellent freeware imageviewer and converter, go here and get IrfanView. And don't forget to also download the plugins for it.
This website will be constantly under construction. As more photos, more information are procured, they will be
added. If you were a wrestler and or know somebody who was, and would like to have yours or that wrestler's career
at SJSU recorded here in the archives, please send me an email.
If you recognize wrestlers whose names are unknown at the moment, again, please send me an email. Anything that
you can share will be welcome.
