SPECIAL YOUTH PRIZES
Any youth entered in the 15 and under age group will receive either a rod, tackle box, or fishing equipment
Trophies will be awarded to winners in six youth divisions
Adult Entry tickets will receive a free 16th anniversary commemorative CARP-A-THON lure.
Adult entry tickets are eligible to win a Miller-Lite canoe in a special door prize drawing

Carp-A-Thon and Bounty Hunt Rules:
1. Each person entering must have an official entry ticket
2. Each contestant may enter one carp for the noon special and one carp for the final prize, or the noon entry may be used for both entries.
3. All carp must come from eligible waters on the day of the contest:

Rock River & Tributaries
4. All carp will be judged on weight using the Coon Creek Casters scale. (Scale closes at 4:00 p.m.)
5. In case of a tie, the first carp entered will receive highest place.
6. Tagged carp entered for the Bounty Hunt must be presented on August 2nd by 4:00 p.m. with the official Coon Creek Casters tag attached to the fish.
7. All carp must be caught on Hook & Line.
8. All decisions of the judges are final.
9. Entry ticket sales end at 9:00 a.m. on August 7.
Wednesday, Aug. 11--
Free Bass School by Dave Johnson. Gander Mountain, Rockford. 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. For Information: 815-637-9600
Saturday, Aug. 14--
Rock River Catfish Tournament, sponsored by Rock Valley Anglers. Two flights: Midnight-6 a.m., and 6 a.m.-noon. Entry fee is $5.00. Weigh-in will be at the Verdi Club 782 North Madison Street. Registration is available at Curve Fishing and Marine in Loves Park.
Saturday, Aug. 28 & 29--
The first Carp Fest fishing tournament in Dixon. The bank-fishing only tournament will be on the Rock River in the downtown area. Hours will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is $4 for adults and $2 for anglers ages 15 and under. More than $2,400 in prizes will be awarded. For more information: John at (815) 288-4107.
