FLYBALL POINTS
|
Each time a B.F.A. registered team races and all the dogs complete their run, points are awarded. The faster the team race, the more points are gained.
Under 30 seconds = 1 point
Under 26 seconds = 5 points
Under 22 seconds = 25 points.
These points are added up and when a certain amount have been won, a dog is awarded a title by the B.F.A. These are as follows:
200 = FLYBALL DOG
1,000 = FLYBALL DOG INTERMEDIATE
5,000 = FLYBALL DOG ADVANCED
10,000 = SILVER MILESTONE
15,000 = GOLD MILESTONE
The B.F.A. also total the points won in each year and the dog and bitch with the most points are awarded the titles of FLYBALL DOG OF THE YEAR and FLYBALL BITCH OF THE YEAR.
