Head Instructor Daniel New is a 2nd Degree Black Belt, who also holds a Red Belt (equivalent to our Brown Belt) in Tang Soo Do. Mr. New is a student at Tri High School in Lewisville IN, where he is very involved in High School Athletics. Mr. New started Karate in 1988 under Mr. Eric Booth in New Castle, IN.

(15 to 17 Black Belt Division)
Mr. New also placed 1st in the Nation in that Division for the year 2000!
In 1997 Mr. New qualified for the 1998 Goodwill Games held Acapulco Mexico.
Daniel New and Shawn Hughes were both Team USA Qualifiers.
In 1998 Mr. New placed 4th in the State of Indiana (PKC) in Kumite, and placed 8th in Kata. Mr. New also placed #9 in the PKC National points in 98/99 for Kumite. I believe that another recent highlight for him was meeting Vicki Pratt and Trish Stratus, two muscle magazine spokesmodels - Arnold Classic 1999.
