The Extreme Combat Championship is a one night invitation only 16 man elimination tournament (all bouts are drawn at random), featuring the toughest fighters from around the world, each with their own fighting style e.g. Karate, Kick Boxing, Pit-fighting, Grappling, Sambo, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Kung Fu, Judo (in fact any fighting technique you care to name). The winner of the tournament will be awarded the prestigious Extreme Combat Championship trophy and will be acknowledged as the worlds toughest man!

1 A bout can only be won by a submission, a knockout, a disqualification,if opponents corner throws in towel or referee decides one man is unable to continue.

2 All bouts have no time limit and no rounds, the bouts continue until there is a winner, how ever long it takes.

3 The only illegal move in the cage is a eye poke/gouge, the referee will give a competitor two warnings and following another incident he will disqualify him, warnings are at the referees discretion.

4 All other 'moves' are legal. There are absolutely no other holds barred inside the cage.

5 The bouts take place in a no rope 6ft tall wire mess octagonal cage (which is locked before each bout), a little larger than a wresting ring. The referee is stationed inside the cage.

6 Failure to break a hold on a referees say so will result in a automatic disqualification and a ban from all future Extreme Combat Championship tournaments.

7 The competitors will compete barefoot. All ring attire is standard karate/wrestling gear, spiked wristbands or hockey masks etc will not be permitted.

8 No foreign object are permitted, all competitors will be thoroughly checked before each bout, the use of a foreign object is an automatic disqualification.

9 In the event of a competitor sustaining an injury, the most impressive alternate will take his place, the ECC comity will decide which alternate comes in, there decision will be final.

10 Any intentional strikes or physical contact with the referee may result in a disqualification at the referee's discretion.

11 In the octagon the referees decision is final, there will be no instant replays or decision reversals, what he says goes!

An ECC security squad will be on hand, consisting of Flex Bruiser (head of security), the Torturer, the Annihilators, Macho Militia, the Daemons, Red Scorpion and Black Demon and the Thorazine Shufflers. Security will be stationed at cage side and will be armed to the teeth, any trouble makers will be severely dealt with!

The referee for the bouts will be announced on the night, he is a no nonsense man very capable of keeping order in the ring.

Any interviews will take place in Jason Desire's 'Beauty Salon'. Sneak attacking Mr Desire could be risky as security will intervene.

The 16 most deserving/talented competitors (plus 6 alternates) will be chosen from all the entrants, the competitors will not necessarily be champions, popular athletes or superstars. The tournament will contain a selection of supreme competitors all with their own specialised fighting technique(s). The tournament will take place some time in 1999.
