Tactics.
You should just do tactics for your first round bout only, competitors advancing in the tournament will be informed and will receive an injury report, then send their tactics for the next round and so on. Competitors failing to qualify for the next round will not receive any more info until the tournament is complete, then everybody will receive all the tournament matches in full, whether they reached the final or not. You should mention how much punishment your man will be prepared to take, will he submit straight away from a devastating hold or will he fight to the end and maybe sustain a injury.Sneak Attacks.
Sneak attacks will be very difficult, a crack squad of very brutal wrestlers, armed to the teeth, will be on hand to keep order, anyone caught perpetrating a sneak attack will be in serious trouble and will probably require emergency medical attention after the security has finished with them! By all means try sneak attacks but make them good and don't get caught.Interviews & skits.
By all means send in any character interviews, comments or any skits you would like to, there will be lots of time to plug your athlete behind the stick, as well as short interviews you could have a ‘main’ interview with Jason Desire in his Beauty Salon….. just suggest questions that you’d like JD to ask followed by your competitors responses. Also feel free to send in any adverts for the commercial breaks, whether you want to advertise your own game or card or whether it’s just for a humorous ad.Hints.
Every competitor should be accompanied to the cage by somebody, whether it is a manager, a tag team partner or an entire family of wrestlers. This is because help may be needed to throw in the towel in the event of your competitor getting his legs broken, or help may just be required to cart off your competitor to the morgue.The Extreme Combat Championship is free, but I would ask all entrants to send me a few stamps to help with postage, unless of course you are an e-mail player. The ECC tradition is based on skill, therefore the most skilled and prepared athlete (best character & tactics) will be victorious. Management is not an issue, if you deserve to lose… you will. No favours in the ECC to anybody. Nobody will be jobbed, unless they don’t send in tactics. The best athlete on the night will become the ECC champion! * My Personal Pledge *
