Oriental Alliance

'WILD CAT' NORIO TIGON

Career Background

01.03.95.
BWF. Tigon made his professional wrestling debut in the BWF against a former tag champion Greased Lightning, the Wild Cat managed by Oriental Alliance head Mystic Ninja and accompanied by his massive tiger Sabretooth. Tigon impressed in his debut, finishing his much more experienced opponent with a awesome 2nd rope Razors Edge Bomb in just 2:50!
16.03.95.
BWF. Tigon went down in his 2nd career match, the Taskmaster getting the pin following a loaded boot shot to Tigon. The Alliance camp not too happy with the standard of BWF refereeing. Time 3:10.
16.04.95.
BWF. Tigon facing Dragon (of tag team Doom) in a no DQ/Falls count anywhere bout. Dragon used his shock-stick and a baseball bat to defeat Tigon, a appalling match (lasting only 1:50)… if you can call it that.
23.04.95.
BWF Lethal Lottery 1995 PPV. Tigon teamed with Dreadlock, Pitbull, Cthulu and Dark Lord against the team of Lightning, Torch, Smoke, Balthus Bane and Yakuza in this elimination bout. Tigon fought valiantly but unfortunately his team couldn't do the same and Tigon was left against the entire opposition, after more brave action from Tigon he was eventually taken out by a Bane submission.
25.04.95.
Tigon was publicly fired from the Oriental Alliance for 'having a losing record' and soiling the great name of the super-stable with his incompetence! Tigon was promised a bigger push by the BWF if he agreed to a face turn, Tigon reluctantly agreed and now would come to the ring with a new dance theme 'Go For It' and a new attitude.
01.05.95.
BWF. Tigon wrestling the first match of his career as a face, Tigon not having any more success, being polished off by Domino in 2:10. Tigon was obviously frustrated, but his guaranteed push was coming soon the suits said. Tigon's 2nd match of the night was a little more successful, the crowd beginning to warm to Tigon, the Wild Cat defeating Muhammed Clay with a inside cradle in 2:10.
15.05.95.
BWF. Tigon facing highly rated Black Strangler in a No DQ 2/3 falls bout. This was the bout were Tigon was to make his mark, Strangler got the first pin after a roll up, Strangler giving Tigon a embarrassing 2-0 defeat with a top rope drop-kick after 4:20. Tigon had been screwed big time by the BWF, and after he was told of the fluffy 'Tigon Toys' they were to market he walked out of the BWF.
23.08.95.
BWA debut. BWA tv Taping. Tigon carrying over his face image which had made him quite popular in the BWF. Tigon winning his first BWA bout in style, Tigon with renewed confidence getting the win with his new finisher, the 'Cats Claw' submission lock in 5:52.
22.11.95.
BWA tv Taping. Tigon faced Florida legend Ric Paradise. Thanks to some red mist and a Akira Kobashi distraction from the crowd, Tigon took a roll up pin from Paradise in 6:31. Dirty tactics from a face? and wasn't it a coincidence that Oriental Alliance Kobashi was at ringside for a Tigon bout?
05.04.96.
BWA Winter Wrestle Warm-Up. Tigon teamed with Shadowmaster in this bout to face Double Trouble. Tigon sick of Shadowmaster's effort in the bout, Tigon actually pulling up a chair at ringside, Tigon eventually slapping his partner when he reached for the tag. Tigon having a confrontation outside the ring with Extremist while Shadowmaster amazingly won the bout for his team in 11:42. Tigon now a heel again, a role which he is far more comfortable with.
22.10.96.
BWA tv Taping. Tigon teamed with Zero Signal, Spellbounder and Kurt Mean to face his nemesis Extremist, Adam Synn, Def Con One and Banker in a Brawl Hall match (1 legal weapon each). Tigon debuting his new Manageress, the Psycho Sex Kitten from Hell (Psycho Babe in leather!) and his weapon of choice in a razor claw glove! Tigon had only one mission in this bout and that was to injure Extremist as badly as possible, which he did by slashing him up horrifically. Tigon's team victorious in this gory bout 2 falls to 1.
17.04.97.
BWA tv Tapings. Tigon faced fellow lightweight Paragon, Paragon actually coming to the ring with a new gimmick as the Phoenix. Extremist again turning up and distracting Tigon, Phoenix getting the 1..2..3.. on Tigon with a running powerbomb after some interference from Extremist in 10:04.
