Buddy Rogers won a tournament held in Brazil by defeating

Randy Savage defeated Ted DiBiase in the final of a
tournament held at Wrestlemania in order to win the vacated
title on 27/03/88

Hulk Hogan defeated the Undertaker after attempted
interference on the Undertakers behalf by Ric Flair and Paul Bearer. President Jack Tunney was knocked unconscious during the match at ringside and when he came round ordered the title to be vacated on 03/12/91

Ric Flair won the vacated title after the belt was given to
the winner of the Royal Rumble, which Flair won on 19/01/92

defeated, Bret Hart. Yokozuna was champion for just over 2
minutes as Hogan came to the ring and issued a challenge.
Yokozuna's manager, Mr Fuji, made a bungled interference
which backfired allowing Hogan
to pick up the win and the gold on 04/04/93

4 seconds, the quickest match in WWF history on 15/11/98
