MacArthur's Jennifer Starnes was the only area girl's winner at the tournament with a pin over Crystal Smith of Austin Travis 38 seconds into the first period of the 128 pound class.
"I'd have to say that out of all the girls I wrestled today, that she definitely gave me a challenge," Starnes, a sophomore, said.
Austin Lanier was the girl's team winner with 94 points. Killeen Ellison was second with 91. MacArthur was fourth with 51.

FROM STAFF REPORTS
Freshman Wendy Casey picked up her first varsity wrestling victory, and it proved critical to Binghamton's 26-24 victory over visiting Spencer-Van Etten in a non-league match Wednesday night.
Casey's takedown in overtime gave her an 11-9 win over Rusty Prosser in a 135-pound match. A Casey loss could have given S-VE the victory.
"She wrestled amazingly," said first-year Binghamton coach Tom Beatty, who won his first home dual meet. "She got put on her back twice in the first period and once in the third and she didn't get pinned. I'm really proud of her.
"This was the most charged up I've seen the Binghamton crowd for a wrestling match this season."
