Club Trophies
DEN DENNY SHIELD (club champion)
To be awarded to the angler with the most points from their best seven charter
trips.
PAIRS TROPHY
Pairings shall be selected from drawn positions(see rule 22)Trophy to be awarded to the pair scoring the highest total of points on one trip.
FLATFISH SHIELD
To be awarded to the angler catching the best specimen flatfish caught in any of the competitions.
TOP POINTS TROPHY
To be awarded to the angler with the highest points total in any of the competitions during the season. (excluding wrecking trips)
RAY TROPHY
To be awarded to the angler catching the ray that is the greatest percentage of the N.F.S.A. Wessex record.
SPECIES TROPHIES
To be awarded to the angler catching the heaviest of the following species Bass,Cod,Conger, Pollack and Spurdog.
SPECIMEN TROPHY
To be awarded to the angler catching a species not included above that is the greatest percentage of the N.F.S.A. Wessex record.
SPECIES SHIELD
To be awarded to the angler catching the highest number of species throughout the season, in the event of a tie the weight of the heaviest fish of each species
caught by the angler will be calculated as a percentage of the N.F.S.A.
Wessex record.These percentages will be totalled up and the angler with the highest total will be awarded the trophy. Mackerel caught by means other than
feathering will count as a species. Pouting and dogfish may be weighed for
recording towards the species trophy.
SPECIMEN MEDALS
To be awarded to anglers catching the heaviest fish of a species which must be equal to or greater than the weight designated as a specimen weight in the
N.F.S.A. lists.
