Brett "My name's as long as my arms" Schefflemaier

Defence
Height...6'6"
Weight...220lbs
Birthdate...03/31/81

Scheff takes the top spot from Vandermeer and make no mistake, Scheff and Vandermeer would be a great fight to watch. Vandy may be tougher but Scheff gets the top spot for his busier dance card. Long armed assassin gets into some marathons and usually gets the upper hand at the end of the big battles. Tough defencman who just might be sought after next year as teams look to bulk up if they feel a run at a league title is in order.

Jim "aka Hansen" Vandermeer

Defence
Height...6'1"
Weight...208lbs
Birthdate...02/21/80

No doubt he is one of the three toughest guys in the league if not the toughest, however a Rebel team looking for a shot at a Memorial Cup berth needs this skilled and belligerent defenceman on the ice for big minutes and his fighting is often regulated by the bench boss. This guy is a hard puncher and meaner than a malnourished cougar.

Robin "Wonder Boy" Gomez

Centre
Height...6'1"
Weight...210lbs
Birthdate...10/15/81

Six fights for one of the gamer scrappers in the league, Gomez tangled with Johnson, Kaz, Jorde, Mirasty, Olynyk and Coulter. With Rypien only getting a short look-see by the Hitmen, Gomez is back to being the lone tough guy in Calgary and shows up every night. Exciting fighter who stands back and chucks 'em with anybody.

Eric "Roller hockey" Bowen

RW
Height...6'2"
Weight...225lbs
Birthdate...10/30/81

Big guy's had a sore nose from talking when he should have been swinging since he arrived from Portland, but this guy is tough and managed three scraps last month, one each with Scheff, Stefishen and David Boychuk. As the playoffs near Eric should be heard from more often as the intensity and battles for playof spots heats up.

Devon "Frankly Scarlet" Francon

LW
Height...6'3"
Weight...218lbs
Birthdate...02/14/80

The big man has finally figured out what one of his biggest roles is on the Reb's and that is protecting the skill guys and letting Vandermeer play hockey. Busiest month by far for Devon with scraps against Scheff, Goetzinger, Brice, Clarke, Boychuk and Black. Huge kid needs to use it more to his advantage and create room for his teammates on a more regular basis.

Jeff "Not Brown, not Jones, it's" Smith

LW
Height...6'6"
Weight...212lbs
Birthdate...01/02/81

Slow month for the other big guy from the Reb's with only one fight against Jorde. He's another guy who unless he's injured  needs to play his role and create room for a team with a big chance of not only making the Memorial Cup, but likely to win it. Role players like Smitty are often big elements in any clubs run and will need to be productive in his role.

Triston "The piston" Grant

Newcomer has been making a huge name for himself recently by fighting seven times in the past month with some tough guys. Included on his dance card were Coulter, Olynyk, Wellar, Mirasty, Johnny Boychuk  twice and Spiller. Young guy isn't afraid to stand back and throw 'em and seems intent on making the Cane fans forget about suspended Derek Parker. Great month for the youngster.
Ryan "The madman from The Hat" Olynyk

Defence
Height...6'0"
Weight...202lbs
Birthdate...08/2//82

One of the most talked about fighters in the league and not all positive. Some say he picks his spots and won't spin the bucket, however just dropping the gloves as often as he does takes a ton of jam. Seven fights for Olynyk including other up and comer Tristan Grant, Thompson, Brice, Gomez, Ponte, Mojzis and O'Connor make for  some pretty tough competition

Brad "The sloth" Voth"

RW
Height...6'6"
Weight...227lbs
Birtdate...02/25/80

Brad takes a drop this month with some new young guys taking the bull by the horns. Three fights this month against Cole, Serdachny and Derek Boogaard is nothing to be ashamed about, but other guys just did more.

Mike "Wild man" Lee

RW
Height...6'0"
Weight...215lbs
Birthdate...05/22/80

Not fighting much, but Mike is undeniably tough and not a guy to fight other than on your best day. Huge punching power and endurance are Mike's forte which make him extremely dangerous. Underrated at #10...Yeah,  but he's just not doing enough.
