Regina has one of the most exciting heavyweights in the league this year, David Kaczowka. Kaz is a maniac who likes to stand back and throw bombs while taking his chances on being the last man standing. Barrett Jackman is another guy who can battle the big boys and do fine, however he seems to be more interested in agitating other teams. Mike Munro, Garth Murray, Ryan Thomas, Scott Balan, Matt Hubbauer and Ryan Annesly will all get involved when needed. With the Pats the host team for the Memorial Cup this year, they'll likely add some more skill players to they're line up, but don't discount them trying to get a little tougher as well. The Pats are another East Division team that won't be pushed around this year.

Garth Murray
C...6'2"...205lbs...09/17/82
Always willing and ready, Garth takes on most comers. Not a big fan of his usual seat belt tactics but if your willing to doff the gloves your okay in my books and since this guy does it on a regular basis, even better. Hoped for Garth to make a push for the top ten this year, but he hasn't been as effective or busy as in the past.

Blake "The snake" Evans
LW/C...6'1"...210lbs

Coming over from the Americans Blake should help the Pats in their quest for "Big Prize". Not a guy that goes looking for trouble but if it comes his way he's more than capable of looking after himself and his teammates. Will probably not have to drop the gloves that often as the Pats are probably looking more at his leadership qualities than his pugilistic qualities.

David Kaczowka
LW...6'2"...220lbs...07/05/81
Everything you need to know about this guy can be found at his home at the top of  the top ten. Unless he gets injured or someone goes ballistic in the east, that's where he'll be found for at least the remainder of this season.  See "The Mayon Event", east for more info.

Jeff "I'm back" Feniak
D...6'5"...220lbs...01/31/81

A big, physical defenceman  who's been back and forth in our top ten rankings for a year and a half now.  Hence his nickname.  Didn't seem to fight on a steady basis with the Hitmen Or the Ams and with Kaz at his side he'll likely continue the same style, however as long as he plays the tough physical game that he's capable of the Pats end of the ice is going to be an ugly place for the oppostion to set up house.

Garnet Exelby
D...6'1"...195lbs...08/16/81
Another guy who doesn't fight often but can more than hold his own and often surprises guys who take him lightly with some solid punching power. Should be a big help to the Pats in their run to the M-Cup.

After approx. 40 games

Kaz is a maniac who likes to stand back and throw bombs while taking his chances on being the last man standing. Barrett Jackman is another guy who can battle the big boys and do fine, however he seems to be more interested in agitating other teams and is oft injured. Newly acquired Garnett Exelby and Jeff Feniak add some needed toughness that can play a regular shift as the Pats gear up for a run at the Memorial Cup. Garth Murray, Ryan Thomas, Matt Hubbauer, Curtis Austring and Gable Gross will all get involved when needed. With the Pats the host team for the Memorial Cup this year, they've added  some more skill players to they're line up, but they've also gotten a little tougher as well.
