OTHER SCORING RULES: All scores will be taken from Statsworld Official scoring entries. Disputes can be double-checked against other box scores, but the final decision will be based on Statsworld. No player is allowed to score individual points for points earned on Defense or Special Teams. All players are eligible for Offense or Kicking points.

ROSTERS & STARTING LINEUPS

ROSTERS: Each team will be franchised a 15-man roster and a 1-man IR. Minimum limits for the squad will be: 1 QB, 3 RB’s, 4 WR/TE’s, 1 K, and 1 DEF. The remaining 5 roster spots are open for any position. NOTE: The Injured Reserve will be reduced to 1 spot this year. For a player to qualify, he must be listed as DOUBTFUL or worse on the official NFL injury report. He will be allowed to stay until he is no longer listed on the Injury Report on any level.

STARTING LINEUPS: Starting lineups each week will consist of: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 1 Back-up player (any position) for tie-breaker purposes. Starting lineups must be posted on the message board before the start of the first game of the week. Sending an E-Mail to the opponent and the commissioner will be accepted in case of problems with the message board, and leaving a voicemail with the commissioner will be accepted in case of internet access problems. These are only to be used in case of problems, not as a regular method. In early game situations, it is only necessary to submit the players participating in those early games prior to the start of that game, all other players can be posted prior to the noon Sunday games. NOTE: Informing anyone besides the Commissioner of a starting lineup is UNACCEPTABLE.

FEES & PAYOUTS

FEES: The league fee this year will be $50.00 and are due on draft day. The Trade fee this year will be $2.00 per team, per player traded (this fee is always owed, but can be negotiated as part of a trade agreement.) The Free Agent transaction fee this year will be $2.00 per transaction. Placing and/or removing a player from IR will be $5.00 per transaction. All transaction fees are due at the end of the regular season. All payouts will happen after the conclusion of the playoffs.

**ISSUE – The software to run the league this year will cost $40.00. $5.00 of every league fee will be put towards this cost, the rest will go to payouts, along with all transaction fees. I do not expect any league fees throughout the year, as no mailings will be neccesary.

PAYOUTS: The theory is to pay a larger percentage of the pot to the regular season winners than the Fantasy Bowl winners, with that said… 65% of the pot will be paid for the Regular Season, and 35% of the pot will be paid for the Fantasy Bowl. Based on a $500 total pot (a low estimate) the payout will be: 30%($150) to season 1st place; 20%($100) to season 2nd place; 10%($50) to season 3rd place; 5%($25) to season 4th place; 20%($100) to Fantasy Bowl 1st place; 10%($50) to Fantasy Bowl 2nd place; and 5% ($25) to the Fantasy Bowl 3rd place.

THE DRAFT, LEAGUES AND WEEKLY PLAY

DRAFT: PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY – AN AUCTION DRAFT WILL BE USED!!!

There will be no preset draft order. Players will be drafted on an auction/bidding method. I know this is new, but again, it is new for all of us. Each team will be allocated $200 of Salary Cap for the draft. We will draw cards to set the order of the draft, and will proceed through 15 rounds of nominations according to the draft order. Moving clockwise around the room, each subsequent coach will have the opportunity to up the bid or pass. For speed reasons, once a coach passes he will no longer be allowed in on the bidding. The highest bidding coach then claims that player, and reduces that amount from their Salary Cap. This method will continue until all roster spots have been filled (15 rounds x 8 teams = 120 total players.) The minimum salary for a player will be $2. NOTE: You must have every roster spot full at the end of the draft, no bid will be allowed that creates a situation where all roster spots can not be filled with at least minimum salaried players ($2.) Also, bids must begin at $2, and must be raised by at least $1 (no $2.10 bids!)

LEAGUES & WEEKLY PLAY: This will be an 8 team league, in one division. Play will be based on head to head competition. The regular season will begin WEEK 1 and end WEEK 13. The playoffs will begin WEEK 14 and end WEEK 16 All teams will play each other twice during the regular season (schedules will be posted on the Web Page immediately after the draft,) except one team will only be played only once. All teams are required to submit a starting lineup via the message board prior to the start of the first game of the week. Rosters not submitted, or submitted improperly will revert to the previous weeks starting roster, no exceptions!! Total points will be tracked, but the Win/Loss columns are all that matter. Ties will be broken by the submitted tie-breaker player, and secondarily by total bench points.

TRADING, FREE AGENCY & PLAYOFFS

TRADING: Trades are open all year. From the time the draft starts until WEEK 13, feel free to wheel and deal. Due to some very, very questionable trades made last year (made by nobody involved this year) trades will be slightly stricter this year. Trades are $2 per player traded. All traded players are locked on the new roster for 1 week past the week of the trade (trade on Thursday, player is locked for 2 weekends.) The execption to this will be when multiple teams ar involved in a trade, or similar situation. No two teams are allowed to trade in subsequent weeks, even if it involves different players. The Commissioner must approve all trades (this is only to prevent stockpiling, not to guarantee equal value.) No trades are allowed without playeers being involved.

FREE AGENCY: We will use a draft system for Free Agents pickups again this year. Teams will be allowed to sign Free Agents in reverse order of the prvious weeks finish. All losing tems before winning teams, and then teams with less points before those with more. Coaches must submit a list of desired Free Agent acquisitions via E-Mail to the commissioner before THURSDAY 10pm. In the case of a Thursday game, the free agent deadline will be WEDNESDAY 10pm. I will post the roster changes by Friday morning. Please use this format: Players desired in order of preference, players to drop in order of preference. Two Free Agent transactions will be allowed per week. Any E-Mail not including players to drop for the Free Agent acquisition will not be accepted! I will submit my list of FA's to Jeff via E-Mail prior to viewing your bids, to avoid any possibility of prior knowledge of potential pickups.

PLAYOFFS: All teams qualify for the playoffs. The top regular season team will play the bottom regular season team and so on. There is no Toilet Bowl. Play will continue in a bracket form, and follow all regular season rules. No roster moves will be allowed after WEEK 12. Teams in the playoffs will be seeded 1 - 8. For the first week of the playoffs, scores will be weighted. The formula will be 2 times the difference in the seeds will be added to the higher seeds final score. Example - 1 plays 8, the difference is 7, 7*2=14, 14 points will be added to team 1's final score as an advantage for finishing higher during the regular season.

FRANCHISE RULES

FRANCHISE PALYERS: Each team will be allowed to re-sign one player from their END OF THE YEAR roster, prior to next years draft, for the cost of 125% the previous years auction bid amount. (Ex. S. Sharpe was $4 this year, he can be claimed next year for $5). This amount will be deducted from the claiming teams' salary cap, and bids will begin the same as this year. Any new team will need to 'buy into' an existing team. There is no specification on who drafted the player, only who has them on their roster come Week 13.
