American on the list 

Hello,
I live in a country where true football is not the focus at all. Calcio, Soccer, Futbol is probably the fifth most popular sport in the USA right now.
I am a long time fan of calcio Italiano, because my father is Italian and I have been playing since I was 4 years old. My favorite Serie A teams are Bologna (of course) and Juve.
As you probably know we do have a professional league in America now, the top division has only ten teams. My favorite is the New York MetroStars, Roberto Donadoni's team (they are in last place but there is no relegation here). Sadly his skills go almost unnoticed in that huge city. Some day I hope that the league will be able to compete with European leagues, but that is still far away.
Anyway, back to Bologna FC. From what I have seen and heard, BFC has been inconsistent in all warm up games. I saw the match against Inter, and I thought we were the better team in the first half. Hopefully, we will continue to improve and get better in the midfield.
With Roby, Andersson, Fontalon, and Kallon we should score a lot of goals. Torrisi is an excellent player, and if he can hold the defense together I think we will be headed for a UEFA spot.
Anyway thats me and my thoughts

Io vivo in un paese dove il calcio č probabibilmente considerato il quinto tra gli sport piu' popolari. IO ne sono appassionato da molto tempo perchč mio padre č Italiano, e ho giocato a calcio fin da quando avevo 4 anni.

Le mie squadre preferite del campionato di Serie A sono il Bologna (ovviamente) e la Juve.

Come probabilmente sapete, anche noi ora abbiamo un campionato di professionisti, ma partecipano solo 10 squadre. La mia suqadra č quella di New York: i MetroStars di Roberto Donadoni (sono all'ultimo posto in classifica, ma qui non esiste la retrocessione).

Un giorno spero che il nostro campionato possa competere con quelli Europei, ma ci vorrā molto tempo. Tornando al Bologna FC, ho visto l'amichevole con l'Inter (estate 97/98) e penso che siamo migliori a centrocampo. Spero che continueremo a migliorare e con Roby, Andersson, Fontalon, e Kallon possiamo seganre molti gol. Penso che potremo lottare per la zona UEFA.
