1</B></div> <div> <B>Second place finishes - 1</B></div> <div> <B>Third place Finishes - 5</B></div> <div> <B>Fourth place finishes - 1</B></div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="id38.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="2002 Results"><U><B>2002 Results</B></U></A></div> <bR> <div> <B>Current Results</B></div> <div> <B>5-11- 03 </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFCC66" FACE="Arial" >Our 13th tournament was a 5man "trophy dash" event at Stalker.  It rained the entire day, never letting up, making it the worst conditions I've played in since the hail at one of last years novice events.  But 8 teams showed up anyway, and halfway through the day we learned that we'd just be playing one round robin, no finals, and everyone rejoiced.  So we maxed our first two games convincingly, starting the day off good, then we played a hard fought battle with Gravity, stalling the game till time ran out so they couldn't hang.  We maxed the rest of our games until the end when we dropped 1 game to surgical strike and then in our last game, probably the most exciting of the tournament.  Andy ended up getting bunkered twice, the first time being that Scott shot the guy out before he got there.  Then Matt grabbed the flag while we were up on bodies 4-3, then was shot out by friendly fire, curtesy of the rain making the balls stray all over the place.  Then when they tried to make a run for the flag, Chad bunkered him in a mutual, it came down to a 2-2 and Marks gun went down, which was actually Chad's backup cocker, the third gun to break down this day.  And Scott then made a field long run bunkering their back guy in a mutual, leaving the other team with 1 guy left to hang, but the pull and eliminations were enough to lock down 3rd place, not bad for such a crappy day.  Gravity took first and Surgical Strike took second.</FONT></div> <div> <B>4-13- 03</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFCC66" FACE="Arial" > Our 12th tournament was a 5man "trophy dash" event at Stalker.  they had 15 teams and played 2-division round robin, then top 3 of each of 2 divisions moved on to the finals, another round robin.  We dropped our first game, and got a zero in our third against shellshock, but we maxed out all of our other games and made it to the finals.  In the finals we got beat  by shellshock and soultakkers then maxed tinge, with Scott shooting out 3 guys on the break alone, lemmings style.  then we got a bye because a team got mad and went home, and maxed our last game against the midgets.  So we took third, the best finish we could have gotten, all in all, a successful tournament.</FONT></div> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Arial" ><B>3-30- 03</B></FONT> For our 11th tournament we traveled down to Iowa at 3am to Team Products paintball for a 5 man amateur event.  Bad news, only 5 teams showed up.  We played sub-par in the morning but once we got used to the field and got the rust out we started winning games and playing well.  We beat the winning team but only got 3rd place, just short of 600 bucks for second place.  It was a good warmup tournament for the season, we played good, but nowhere near as good as we will be playing later in the year.</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
