| It is with deep sadness we mourn
the loss of Ashbury. On the evening of Monday July 17,
2000, Ashbury began his journey to Rainbow Bridge. A
sweet cat with bright green eyes, a shiny silver coat and
a loud purr, Ashbury brought comfort and happiness to his
family and to all who had the pleasure of knowing
him. Ashbury's sudden departure was most shocking,
yet he began his peaceful journey in the arms of his
loving mother. She comforted him as he had comforted her
over the 12 years they were together. Ashbury's last
weekend on this earth was spent in the country with his
loving parents as he played in the leaves, climbed on
tree limbs and cuddled in bed with loud purrs. His charm,
wisdom and unconditional love cannot be replaced,
however, the memories will be cherished. He is missed and
loved very much. Ashbury is preceded
to Rainbow Bridge by his golden retriever brother,
Chesterfield.
