| The Rainbow Bridge represents the heart-felt belief that when our beloved canine or feline friends (or any animal friend) are taken from us, they go to a place where they can run and play without pain or suffering, where they become whole again and everyday is filled with love and friendship. To get to this wonderful place, they must first cross over the "Rainbow Bridge". It is here where they will be greeted and led across. Once across the bridge, the only thing that will complete their joy is when they are united with their loving human companions. | |||||||||||||||
The Rainbow Bridge Story "Just this side of Heaven is a place called The Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor, those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent, the eager body quivers. Suddenly they begin to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together......." --author unknown |

How To Establish A Memorial |
|||||||||||||||
|
On this web site,
you may establish a FREE memorial tribute for your dearly
departed dog or cat. Your tribute may be as long as
you wish. All I ask is that you keep it in good taste. You may establish more than one
tribute if you wish, but each tribute must be a separate
email. I will publish your tribute as soon as possible. Be patient, it
may be a week or longer. I reserve the right to refuse
any copy I deem unsuitable. Title your email "pet memorial", else it might get over looked & deleted. Type your memorial in your email. No Word docs or Note Pad docs accepted. Print must be in black; no colors. Backgrounds must be plain (not white). Your pictures (up to 2) must be attached to your email and in .gif or .jpg format only. No compressed files (ie zip) of any kind accepted. Be sure to tell me which picture you want at the top of the page. Formats other than above will be rejected. No exceptions. Click here for an example page. Note: I copy and paste your tributes. If you are not pleased with the way your tribute turned out, you can only blame yourself, for that is how I received it from you! Be sure it is the way you want it before you send it. Once posted, it will not be changed. This may sound strict, but I do not have the time to edit, spell check, or do special pages or favors. After all, this is a free service. At this time, I am no longer able to accept memorials due to the number of viruses I am getting from memorial submissions. |

| When I'm gone, release me, let me go.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. You can only
guess how much you gave me in happiness. Grieve for
me a while, if you grieve you must then let your
grief be comforted by trust. And then when you
must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a lick
and bark, "Welcome Home." -Author Unknown |
