The Ragdoll Cat was first established in the early 1960's by Ann Baker of California. Little did she realize what wonderful creatures she produced. It is unprcedented in the history of the cat fancy that a breed has taken over the hearts and homes of so many people so quickly. This would explain why some Ragdoll breeders find it difficult at times to keep up with requests for kittens.
Ragdolls are real cuddlers...a more loving pet you will not find. They are a true companion with whom you can expect nothing less than an endless supply of love. Besides their incredibly sweet personalities you will be captivated by their beautiful coats, classic pointed pattern, not to mention their stunning blue eyes (all Ragdolls have blue eyes).
