The Camarilla of Groton has held the town from Sabbat and Anarch attack since it's founding.
The Malkavians ruled this town until a few years ago, when it was given to Dimitri of Clan Toreador. He then, a year later, left - and Julianna VanDermeer replaced him. She was of Clan Tremere, and was on her own quests, so being Prince was not ideal. When Dimitri returned the city went back to him, and has stayed that way since.
You've undoubtedly noticed the lack of two clans in the symbols above. This is because they are not represented in Groton. ALL the Malkavians went to Rome two years ago, and all the Nosferatu disappeared around the same time. There are rumors about Monacle, the old Nosferatu primogen, still lurking beneath Groton, but anybody who has ventured below has met with an untimely death. But perhaps that lends weight to the rumors...
With the recent destruction of the Sabbat bishop, Alexandrea Hayes, and the agreement with the Anarchs, the Kindred of Groton seem to have things back under control. Perhaps they can now concentrate on the approaching doom...
