Origin and Background
Born in Colorado, Eric Smith was embroiled in a scheme by a criminal
organization to build an army of cyborgs, beginning with himself. After
escaping, Eric pursued a career as a superhero cyborg called Defensor.
Following a super-battle between the forces of good and evil, Defensor
was returned to Earth, his powers changed to include the control of the
unified field, called the Hyper-Field. This unified field includes control
of gravity, electromagnetism, strong, and weak forces.
Personality and Motivation
Eric Allen Smith was raised to help others and to stand up against those
who would bring harm to others. As Defensor, he defends those who cannot
defend themselves. Formerly an assistant district attorney for Fulton
County, he now lives on a farm near Conyers.
Powers/Tactics
Defensor's control of the hyper-field allows him a tremendous range of
potential tactics including control of local gravitational fields, energy
blasts of various types, and force walls. He is still learning how to best
use these powers. He prefers hand-to-hand combat, relying upon combat
training, strength, and toughness. He will generally use his own body as a
human shield to protect innocents from harm.
