Origin and Background
An ex-military intelligence operative working in Eastern Europe
turned security consultant, Stephen Wolfberg was contacted in 1989
by The Advanced Research Consortium (ARC) in Atlanta, Georgia.
After DNA testing, it was determined he had latent powers which
could be manifested under the right conditions which ARC could
provide. Accepting their offer he relocated to Atlanta. Shortly
thereafter, his latent shadow powers came to the surface. As Shadow
Wolf, he is one of the founding members of Arclight.
Personality and Motivation
Having seen oppression and victimization first-hand in other
countries, Stephen appreciates the freedoms each United States
citizen has. In his view, criminal elements are another form of
oppression and victimization. He believes his powers are a gift
with a great responsibility - to bring to justice those who
threaten the freedom and safety of the innocent. He has dedicated
his life to this end.
Powers/Tactics
Shadow Wolf's favorite tactic is to sneak up on his opponent
and quickly render him/her unconscious using his Commando Training
skills. The ability to turn desolid has frustrated many an opponent
trying to hit him. Being able to turn invisible, desolid, and
teleport make him an excellent choice for reconnaissance purposes.
His cloak also can act as a one-hex force wall to shield himself
and others from attacks.

Shadow Wolf's costume consists of a black, form fitting, single
piece outfit surrounded by a form-obscuring, billowing black cloak.
A red mask covers his head and face from the nose up. Silver
reflective lenses cover the eyes. Red gloves and boots and a
stylized red wolf's head on his chest complete the costume.

I've earned, and continue to earn, a lot of money in the securities industry. Being a superhero helps to get the word out .
Where in Atlanta do you live? Is there a particular reason you live there?
I live at the ArcLight headquarters for many reasons. Over the years I've garnered quite a few enemies. In the past I have been attacked at home and this has resulted in innocents being in jeopardy. If attacked at ArcLight that risk is much less. Also, ArcLight headquarters is centrally located. From it's location, I can be just about anywhere in the metro area in a matter of minutes.
