why do I have a problem with Nike?
Slave labour.Those expensive 100$+ shoes you or your friend are
wearing , were made by people and VERY YOUNG CHILDREN in
asian countries who slave away for 16 hour days in sweat shops
for less a day then the average kid recieves for POCKET MONEY in a MONTH.A
MONTH.Just to try and support themselves and thier family.And failing miserably,starving,no
matter how hard they work.
Still think nike is cool?
What's my gripe with disney?Well,it's an otaku's gripe.
They ripped off two,count 'em TWO well-known anime,and screwed with
another.
anime no.1: The little mermaid.
I know,I know,the anime version was based on hans christian anderson's
or whover it was' story.
But at LEAST it was just like the actual story!DISNEY BASTARDIZED
IT!
A sappy ending,next to no violence,and the part where the
sisters give marina (yes,I refuse to call her ARIEL) a dagger to stab the
prince with to break the spell.
Anime no.2: The adventures of KIMba,the white LION.
A well-known anime tv series,one of the first,in fact.
What anime did the screw up?Kiki's delievery service.True,the dubbing
was fine,but the original beauitfull musical score is GONE,and not only
that,but REPLACED by CHEESY music!
Sure,it would be excusable if they just did it with the VOCAL numbers,but
NO!EVERYTHING!
My gripe with wal-mart?
simple.They move into small towns,destroy the local small
buisnesses with competition,and then LEAVE!Yes,that's right!If this has
happenned to your town,feel free to tell me your story!
