It was a balmy summer afternoon, the kind of afternoon that an accountant of the Kill-O-Matic Bigg Gunns Corporation used to love. But now he was stuck in his office all day, just another beauracratic paper pusher. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to just sneak outside for a moment. The accountant was almost out of the KOMBG building when he saw his boss coming down the hall. He ducked into the door next to him and breathed a sigh of relief. It was a bit too soon for that, because our accountant had gone into the holding area for some vampires that KOMBG had captured for research purposes. They made quick work of him, after-all, KOMBG only gave them bottled blood. KOMBG cut their losses and decided to use the former accountant for experiments along with the rest of the vampires. However, the time soon came to dispose of them, and each vampire had a stake plunged into their heart after which they immediately turned to dust (that’s one reason KOMBG liked to use vampires; their was little to clean up.) But when the scientist came to the former accountant and plunged the stake into its heart it did nothing. With the scientist confused for a moment, the accountant seized the chance to touch him and sap his strength. He used the absorbed power to break its bonds and escape. It was later taken in by the Maniacal Heroes. They agreed to shelter the former accountant during the day if it would only attack evil doers at night. So watch out when you walk the streets of Khazan after dark, for The Accountant of The Night is coming to audit you for your sins!

- Level: The Ultimate
- Description: The Accountant of the Night has no heart. It’s strange but true. That’s what made him such a good accountant in life and such a good killer in un-life. A stake to the heart has no effect on it. Cutting off his head? Nothing! Fire? Only good for tanning. Garlic? Just for pasta, thanks. You can destroy the vampire utterly, but it will reform to feed on you once again!

- Description: KOMBG did many experiments to bring out more of the latent vampiric powers of their subjects. Flight was one of the supernatural powers that the accountant was able to manifest. Unfortunately, there is no room to fly in a steel cage.

- Description: The Accountant of the Night is a vampire. To survive, it must feed on the strength of others, but thanks to the efforts of KOMBG it can sap that strength without a bite, through a simple touch. His opponents strength attribute is lowered by one and that rank is added to his own strength level. If the fighter has any physical enhancement powers (Corrosive Touch, Super Speed, Pheromones, Regeneration, Animal Transformation, Blending, Energy Sheath, Energy Body, Invisibility, Elongation, or Phasing) they too are drained one level and those levels are added to his body, agility, and mind, in that order. Once an opponent is physically weakened, the vampire accountant beats them to a pulp with their stolen strength.

- Description: The true goal of the KOMBG tests was to engineer a vampire that could drain the strength of an opponent without having to bite him (this they achieved) or even touch them. They had limited success in this area. The Accountant of the Night can lower his opponents mental attribute and add those ranks to his own mind from a distance; mental powers (Communicate with Animals, Communicate with Cybernetics, Communicate with Plants, Danger Sense, Lucky, Iron Will, Mind Blast, Telekinesis, Telepathy, or Psychic Vampire) are drained as well and added to his body, strength, and agility, in that order. Once his opponents are made stupid and careless with this power, the Accountant of Night moves in for the kill.

- Level: Standard
- Description: With but a glance, the Accountant of the Night sends illusions and vertigo to disorient his opponents. The former accountant isn’t really sure how this power works, but the ability to confuse its victims to make for easy feeding is certainly a favorable trait. The lower the mental attribute of a fighter, the more effective this attack is. Therefore, it is especially useful after the Accountant has already lowered the mental abilities of his opponent with his Energy Drain ability.
- Advantage: Auto-Hit Mental attack hits target automatically, but may be resisted.

- Description: Those KOMBG scientists are truly amazing! They nearly succeeded in creating a vampire that could drain its victims without touching, let alone biting, them. Why they chose to end the experiments is anyone's guess, but they certainly weren't expecting the accountant to survive. Now the villains of Khazan have to deal with their creation.
