Background:Joeseph Harker and his twin brother Jonathan were professional wrestlers.  They wrestled as a tag team, Gideon and Grendel, The Darkness.  Their gimmick could be best described as "twin bastard sons of The Undertaker and The Crow".  They had just re-signed with the company for twice their original pay, the fans absolutely adored them, and they were embarking on a huge push, possibly culminating in the Tag Team Championships.  It was every wrestler's dream.  But all dreams end, and this dream's end was named Malcolm Maniacal.

Malcolm was a vampire with a touch of insanity.  He flitted from obsession to obsession, wholeheartedly engrossed with one until he found something more interesting.  His current obsession was with The Darkness, and he wanted to meet his favorite tag team.  So he followed them when they left from a house show, to a nearby bar.  There, when he saw them drinking, laughing, and joking with the other wrestlers, he realized the twins were not the creatures of darkness he thought they were.  He would show them what a true creature of darkness is.

When Joe stepped outside the bar for a breath of fresh air, Malcolm saw his chance.  He waylaid Joe, took him into an abandoned subway tunned, Embraced him, and bound him to a large pipe.  For two weeks, Joeseph was chained in that tunnel, barely surviving on the blood of the scrawny rats that inhabited the tunnels, while Malcolm would come and taunt him about his weakness and the loss of his humanity.  Finally, when Malcolm said he wopuld bestow the "gift" on Jon, Joe snapped.  He broke the chains, leapt on Malcolm, ripped open his throat, and drained him of all his blood.  His revulsion at what he'd just done and what he'd become fractured his mind, and he seized on the only thing he could think of--his gimmick.  Now he wholeheartedly believes he is the character he portrayed--Gideon, a demon come from hell to punish the wicked.

Powers and Abilities

High-risk/Submission Style

• Description: Gideon is a master wrestler of both the high-risk and submission styles.  He is capable of both death-defying aerial maneuvers and punishing holds.  However, most of these moves require either leverage or momentum over an opponent; therefore, they are fairly useless in low-gravity.
• Weakness: power fails in terrain Low Gravity Arena.

• Power: Bio Vampire 
• Level: Standard
• Description: Like most vampires, Gideon must feed on the life force of others to survive.  Unlike most vampires, however, and thanks to Malcolm's bloodline, Gideon does not need to take blood to take the energy.  Instead, he is capable of stealing it with a touch.  However, after doing this 10 times, Gideon is completely sated and cannot drain anymore
• Weakness: only 10 uses

• Power: Emotion Control
• Level: Supreme 
• Description: Gideon has taken the standard vampiric mesmeric power and turned it on its head.  He can induce the most primal fear, the fear of prey that has just realized it is being hunted.  However, those with mental powers have risen too far above their animal natures to be affected by this power.
• Weakness: Power fails against opponents with Mental Powers.

• Power: Web Creation 
• Level: Standard 
• Description: This is Gideon's most unusual power.  Nobody is quite sure where it came from, as it was not exhibited by Malcolm Maniacal, so it could not have come from his bloodline.  Nevertheless, he does have the ability to cause inky black tendrils to rise from the ground and entangle his opponent. However, they uncoil slowly for maximum dramatic effect (hey, he is a wrestler, after all), and so can be easily avoided by anybody with movement powers.  Likewise, in a Low Gravity arena, it is easy to simply jump out of the writhning mass before it closes.
• Weakness: Power fails against opponents with Mental Powers.
• Weakness: Power fails in terrain Low Gravity Arena.
• Advantage: Ranged Attack This attack can be used from a distance.
