Telalore's Tale
Kat's Chronicle

Herein lie the Tales of these brave souls. The adventure began when Briana, a newly ordained Priestess of Lugh, was on her way to the Temple of the Morning and found a strange, glowing, blue disk. It was about the size of a door, and floated in front of her, blocking the path through the woods. Eyes wide with wonder and a little fear, she reached out to touch this apparition and found herself winging through the void. With a bump and a start, Briana stumbled through a gate into a strange city where the air was sooty and foul and the peoples strange. She turned to look behind her, and found only a solid wall.

An Aasimar by the name of Vanguard Dewitt came upon this clueless prime, who he found fingering the peeling paint of an arch sketched upon the wall.  A tout of the Society of Sensation, Vanguard brought her to the local headquarters of the Temple of Lugh to seek sanctuary and assistance. The High Priest of Lugh recommended that Vanguard show Priestess Briana the ropes in Sigil. Willingly Vanguard undertook the task (for a small compensation, of course).

Shortly thereafter, acting upon information Vanguard received from a friend, he approached an information broker who is sometimes found at the Fortune’s Wheel. The information broker had a job for them: to pick up a package in Curst, the Gate Town to Carceri. The job, though not difficult to accomplish, would be hazardous to the well being of Vanguard, a descendent of the Upper Planes.

While in Curst, they ran afoul of a being known only as the Grendel. In a short, bloody fight, Vanguard ran the Grendel through the right eye with his saber. The Grendel and his accomplice escaped into the night.

The story continues....
