Yes, it's true. There will finally be a VGA remake of QFG2: Trial by Fire!

So you're the new adventurer around here? Welcome... come on in! Please wipe the snow and mud off your boots and hang up your plate mail as you enter. Hi There! This site is devoted to the best game series of all time, Quest for Glory by Sierra On-Line Quest for Glory is an awesome Adventure/RPG series which is sometimes funny, sometimes creepy and mysterious, sometimes sad, and sometimes even romantic - but always great fun to play! It's set in the fantasy world of Glorianna where YOU are striving to become a HERO! The original "Hero's Quest: So you want to be a hero?" , was made all the way back in 1989, but Sierra decided to change the title to "Quest for Glory" due to Milton & Bradley already copyrighting the name, 'Hero's Quest' for one of their Board games. But what's in a name, Right? Quest for Glory 1 was set in the German Valley of Spielburg where our Hero wannabe, fresh out of correspondence school, took on a Brigand problem that plagued the Valley. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was also the matter of a curse on the Baron Von Spielburg, his missing children and the evil Ogress Behind it all, Baba Yaga! Quest for Glory 1 went on to win Computer Gaming World's "Best Adventure game of the year Award" in 1990 and the designers, Lori and Corey Cole, have since created 4 more amazing sequels. Quest for Glory 2: Trial by Fire has an Arabian Nights setting, and was was released in 1990. Pitted in the African Land of Tarna, Quest for Glory 3: Wages of War was unveiled in 1992 (along with a VGA remake of QFG1). A year later, in 1993, came the long awaited QFG4: Shadows of Darkness, which followed Slavic Culture. And the latest addition to the series is Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire, released in 1998, set in the beautiful ancient Greek city of Silmaria! Check these games out if you can still find them. Ebay is a great place to find vintage games, sometimes in mint condition.
