Lady Tiffilynn

Tiffilynn and The Lost Scrolls

One day traveling through a village of kobolds Tiffilynn stumbled across an old shack. Upon approching this mysteriously familiar shack she felt a strange sense drawing her to it so, being curious she went inside without knocking or caring if anyone were living there. Glancing around a sudden rush of memories had engulfed her. She remembered a kind, old kobold woman who raised her as a young child. She remembered stories the woman told her of her mother. Luckily the old kobold woman spoke the Common language and she didnt have to learn the odd sounding words that the kobold clans spoke. Although, Tiffilynn did pick up the accent a little of course for she didnt see or even speak to another human in her first ten years of her life.

Sitting on a old chair, Tiffilynn gazed around the shack and something struck her memory suddenly like a bolt of lightening! She thought to herself. "Oh is it still there!?" She sprung up from the chair and went to the back corner of the shack. Ripping away the cobwebs she saw that the hidden little door was still there, thankfully left unnoticed by anyone else. She pryed and pryed at it and couldnt get it open. She said a spell of unlocking and it popped open immediately. Inside held scrolls the old kobold woman had written on, of how she came to be here and where she was from. The old woman told Tiffilynn not to forget this spot, because one day she would want to have answers. She sat down on the floor and began reading that instant.

Tessilysa was a lovely human sorceress. Her family lived in a hidden human village far southwest of Wehnimer's Landing. The human villiage was destroyed by a clan of traveling elvens of unknown origin. Tessilysa, with her unborn child and husband tried fighting the elves away from their hut. The elven soldiers slayed Tessilysa's brave husband without caring he was a soon to be father. Tessilysa, injured, barely got away. Crying and in pain she walked for days and days heading in no particular direction. She had to find food and shelter quick for the sake of her baby. Eating berries and bark wasnt near enough nourishment that she needed. She needed bread, milk and meat. So she hunted the best she could with her weakening magiks. It gave her a little more strength to carry on. Walking seemed a curse now to her aching legs and body.

Finally a few days later she found an old shack, almost to the door, she collapsed. An old kobold woman saw the human woman fall to the ground. She also saw she was with child. She rushed to the poor human and took her in and tried to make her well again. It was too late. Tessilysa woke for a few moments. She whispered what had happened to the little human village and begged the old woman to help her baby. Then thanked her softly with her last breath. The wise old woman knew she had to take the baby now before it was too late. Tiffilynn was born healthy and strong.

Ten years later, the old woman decided it was time for her to find those of her own kind. Tiffilynn did not want to leave the safe little shack, but the old woman said she must find her humankind people so they can teach her the proper ways.

The old woman saw an aura of magik around Tiffilynn and was afraid for her own kobold children, for a human with magiks meant death to the little kobold race. So, the old woman gave her a backpack and a few little things and took her to what she knew as the strong, thriving human town of Wehnimer's Landing. Tearfully, she hugged the little human lass and ran away quickly...

Tiffilynn from Lass to Lady

Wandering aimlessly through the busy streets of Wehnimer's Landing she met many nice people dressed in fine clothing. Looking at her drab apparel she started looking for a way to earn these shiny round silver objects people used to trade for items. She was amazed the more of these shiny round items you gave a person the nicer the item you get from them. Little Tiffilynn loves sparkly pretty things so much. She suddenly remembered that the old woman gave her a little pouch of them that she had in her backpack. She pulled them out and gazed at them and giggled with joy as they shimmered in the sunlight.

Tired from playing with her funny silver objects she scrambled to her feet and pitterpattered down the streets of the town. She spoke to a flower girl about how she could get a job and the girl told Tiffilynn that Helga was looking for a barmaid to help her clean pitchers and mugs and hand out drinks. Tiffi thought to herself, "Now that cant be to hard!" Helga hired her right there on the spot and mumbled something about her bringing more of the men folk in once she got older. What she meant by that, Tiffilynn didnt know.

Many a year went by, Tiffilynn grew older and wiser and attatched to the regulars at Helgas Tavern. A married couple who were her closest mentors. Lord Bladegirt and Lady Emlly, adopted Tiffilynn on her Sixteenth birthday. Lord Bladegirt noticed that the fellas were beginning to eyeball the budding young lass and decided she would need someone to watch over her and help her though the many years to come. Lord Bladegirt of the Giantkin clan was a very strong protective father to her. She did not tolerate many of her suitors and scared most of them away except one, of a Tiger Tribal Warrior clan.

Lady Emlly of the elven race and a avid follower of Luukos was such a joy in Tiffilynns life. She grew to her adopted mothers Luukosian ways and that mixed with her growing Sorceress powers was a fine match. Although her mother was somewhat eccentric at times. That rubbed off on her a little too. She loved her parents and cherished their ways and teachings.

The one her father couldn't keep away. Smoketiger, her love, joy and passion. They dated for many a year and finally wed on the second day of the New Years. They had a beautiful daughter, Aravenne. But something was amiss.

How did a humankind couple have a darkelven daughter? There were no elvens in Tiffilynns line or in Smoketigers line? Something had happened. Tiffilynn pushed it out of her mind. "No, it cant be." But it was there tearing at her.

Something had gone wrong during childbirth. Tiffilynn's mother was there helping her give birth when something strange had happened. Tiffilynn's human baby girl had been stolen by a evil elven mage and replaced it with a dark elven one. Grief stricken and weak from labor Tiffilynn simply passed out. When she awoke again the next day her mother handed her her beautiful baby and the beauty of the child made her think she had just dreamt what had happened the day before and so she thought nothing more of it from then on. That is, untill she found the scrolls the old woman had written on reminding her of her childhood.

Panic tore at Tiffilynn's heart. So many memories all at once. I have a daughter out there somewhere? Is she okay? I have to find her. I love my daughter Aravenne so much. What am I going to do? How will I tell them?

Tiffilynn rose to her feet wearily and went out of the shack and wrote everything out on parchment scrolls that you are reading now. She decided she would send this information to all she knew.
