A heart-shaped red and golden brooch with an ornate heradic design and
adorned with small jewels of various colors and sizes. The Cosmic Heart
Compact was created from the Crystal Star - the latter having been rendered
defunct after being bitten into by the Daimon Mikuuji - from a combination
of both Usagi and Mamoru's love for another as well as her determination
to save both him and the other Sailor Soldiers from the Daimon Nekonelle
by fighting alongside of them, a desire which also gave birth to the Spiral
Heart Moon Rod. The brooch houses a pink heart-shaped incarnation of the
Illusion Silver Crystal - which can be reversably separated from it through
an act of will - and Usagi Tsukino invokes its inherant mystical power
to transform herself into Sailor Moon by speaking the magic words "Moon
Cosmic Power Make Up!". The magical energies of the Cosmic Heart Compact
were able to react with those of the Holy Grail to temporarily evoke a
secondary transformation in her into Super Sailor Moon, a change which
proved to be extremely difficult to duplicate following the destruction
of the sacred cup. Some time later, exposure to the mystical aura of the
magical winged unicorn Pegasus temporarily changed the Cosmic Heart Compact
into the Crisis Moon Compact, a transformation that was made permanent
after he lent his power to both her and Sailor Chibi Moon so that they
might protect beautiful dreams.
