History: The past of the young woman known only as Cyprine remains shrouded in mystery. No details have ever been revealed about her private life, neither who she really is nor where she really comes from, not even how she came to be associated with the evil organization known as the Death Busters or what her motives were for joining them in their sinister quest to purge the Earth of all life by summoning Master Pharaoh 90 and triggering the apocalyptic cataclysm known as the Silence. Even more mysterious is the exact nature of her relationship to Ptilol, who is generally believed to have been her identical twin sister but may possibly have been an aspect of Cyprine somehow able to physically manifest herself as a completely separate and distinct entity, though no evidence firmly supporting either one of these beliefs has ever come to light. Part of a quintet of young female scientists and sorceresses collectively known as the Witches 5 - a group in which she and Ptilol were counted as a single member due to their being twins - the arrogant, overconfident, and soft-spoken Cyprine was initially shown her way around the laboratory and taught how to perform her job by the group's senior member Eudial. While known to have conducted scientific research of an unspecified nature on mice during her tenure, she and Ptilol apparently chose to focus their joint attention on magic instead of science, eventually becoming accomplished sorceresses in their own right and arguably the most powerful members of the group.
While it remains uncertain exactly how long Cyprine served under the employ of the Death Busters before being summoned to active duty, she - at least as far as is known - did little to directly advance her position in the organization despite her ever-growing contempt for Eudial following her numerous failures in attempting to locate and retrieve the three mystical objects collectively known as the Talismans and evident disappointment at Mimete being chosen as the former's successor, and instead spent her time performing experiments, conducting independant research, attending the occasional lecture by Professor Tomoe, and playing the odd game of Twister with her fellow witches. :) Following the untimely deaths of the other four members of the Witches 5, Cyprine told Professor Tomoe that she was prepared to make her own attempt to procure the massive quanitities of pure hearts required in order to sate Mistress 9's ever growing hunger and bring about her awakening as the Messiah of Silence, having taken note of the fact that the latter's physical state had degenerated to such a degree that her host body, Hotaru Tomoe, had began to suffer as a result.
After obtaining Professor Tomoe's approval and taking advantage of the opportunity to make a contemptuous remark about Kaolinite, who she knew was secretly watching them, Cyprine used her vast magical powers in order to hypnotize and summon a large number of Infinity Academy students to the private school in the dead of night, where she promptly deprived them of their Heart Crystals. While these events hardly went unnoticed by Luna and Artemis, Cyprine - having evidently been informed of the Sailor Soldiers' civilian identities by Professor Tomoe beforehand - easily singled them out from the crowd of students when they came to investigate and transported them to an upstairs office. Once there, she calmly introduced herself to her adversaries from the comfort of a swivel chair, patiently waiting for them to transform and make their patented introduction speeches before tauting them into attacking her by boasting about the Death Busters' now supposedly inevitable victory.
Using the massive amount of dust and debris thrown up by Sailor Mars' missed "Burning Mandala" - which utterly obliterated the desk Cyprine had been sitting at and heavily damaged the room in that general area - as cover, she and Ptilol launched a joint attack, the former practically allowing herself to be captured by Sailor Venus' "Venus Love Me Chain" only to be freed by the latter mere shortly thereafter, after which they finally decided to enlighten their confused adversaries by revealing that there were, in fact, two of them. The twin witches then proceeded to toy with their adversaries even further by using their combined magical abilities in order to absorb and reflect both Sailor Jupiter's "Sparkling Wide Pressure" and Sailor Mercury's "Shine Aqua Illusion" right back at them before finally deciding to get serious and eliminate the Sailor Soldiers once and for all.
Surrounded by the hazy mists of Sailor Mercury's "Shabon Spray", the overconfident twins were kept distracted by a continuous barrage of attacks from several of the Inner Soldiers long enough for Sailor Jupiter to jump Cyprine from behind and tackle her to the ground before disappearing into the fog once more. Enraged by the physical attack, she ignored Ptilol frantic warning and ran off in pursuit of her assailant just as the latter herself did after she was similarily ambushed by Sailor Mars mere seconds later, ignoring her own good advice in the process. Little did either one of them suspect that they were being royally outmaneuvered by their adversaries, who were leading them in a circle in order to position them in such a way that they would be standing opposite of one another but would be completely unaware of it due to the dense fog of the "Shabon Spray" blanketing the entire area and clouding their vision. The sudden horrifying realization of the nature of the Sailor Soldiers' ruse came too late to save either Cyprine or Ptilol, who were consumed and killed by a tremendous explosion of magical energy after they were tricked into firing their mystical attacks at one another.

Height: Estimated at 5'4'' (163 cm), never accurately measured
Weight: Estimated at 118 lbs. (53 kg), never accurately weighed
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blue

Abilities: Cyprine was able to use her vast magical powers in order to hypnotize and summon a large number of people to her presence and could also extract Heart Crystals from several human beings at once without the use of any extraneous paraphernalia, mystical or otherwise. She also possessed the power of flight and could apparently create minor distortions in the local space-time continuum as she and Ptilol did when they selected the otherdimensional battlefield where the two of them fought the Sailor Soldiers together.
Paraphernalia: Cyprine's primary weapon was a staff intertwined with a blue star at one end capable of firing an elliptical blue projectile of magical energy and, when used in conjunction with a similar
staff in Ptilol's possession, could absorb and reflect any mystical attacks directed against her, though whether these powers were inherant to the rod itself or it was merely serving as a conduit for her own inherant abilities as a sorceress remains unknown. In addition, Cyprine also used a giant white crystalline statue of the Messiah of Silence to store the Heart Crystals she had stolen and could manipulate the red magical energy emitted from the stained-glass windows located at the base of a domed ceiling in a large room within the Infinity Academy to form a mystical crimson bubble around several individuals in order to incapacitate and transport them from place to place, even through solid matter.
