History: Doorknobdar was a female Daimon specially
created by Professor Tomoe for Eudial after she managed to locate a rather
weird individual with a pure heart of an indeterminate nature (to her,
at least): Minako Aino. The product of the fusion of a doorknob with a
Daimon Egg, her purpose, like that of all of Eudial's Daimons, was not
to extract Heart Crystals from human beings, but rather to serve as a bodyguard
and living weapon for her own personal use...at least in theory. However,
this particular Daimon was custom engineered by Professor Tomoe so that
she would possess special abilities that would prevent the Sailor Soldiers
from interfering with yet another of Eudial's missions.
Summoned to active duty after Usagi Tsukino confronted Eudial in a parking
garage - just as the latter was about to examine the Heart Crystal she
had extracted from Minako - Doorknobdar was quick to follow her mistress'
orders and used her supernatural powers to completely seal off the entire
area from the outside world, leaving only the three of them, as well as
Haruka Ten'ou and Michiru Kaiou, inside. A seemingly effective minion,
the Daimon's major flaw became apparent only after she was ordered to attack
Usagi in her Sailor Moon guise: Doorknobdar had been designed with the
specific purpose of locking things up and not for fighting. Even so, she
was forced to attack by Eudial. While proving to be competant enough battling
Sailor Moon, a similar attempt against Haruka and Michiru failed miserably,
only getting worse when the two revealed themselves to be Sailor Soldiers
and the Daimon got knocked for a loop by Sailor Neptune's "Deep Submerge".
Fleeing to her mistress in terror, the frightened Daimon, fearful for her
own life, suggested that Sailor Moon target Eudial first instead of her.
Unceremoniously knocked out of the way by the Witch, Doorknobdar retreated
and began cowering behind her full body shield, but ended up being accidentally
destroyed by Sailor Moon anyway after her "Moon Spiral Heart Attack"
was deflected by Eudial's "Witches' Eudial Fire Buster" in the
Daimon's direction and struck her.
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Eyes: Black irises on yellow corneas
Hair: Red
Skin: Chalk white
.
Abilities: In keeping with the purpose
of her creation, Doorknobdar - with the help of her blinding superhuman
speed - could completely seal off an entire building from the outside world
within seconds by barricading every possible entrance with heavy and incredibly
durable metallic plates which were capable of surviving direct hits from
several of the Sailor Soldiers' attacks, including Sailor Mars' "Burning
Mandala", Sailor Jupiter's "Sparkling Wide Pressure" and
Sailor Mercury's "Shine Aqua Illusion". Though fighting was far
from being her forte, the Daimon did possess an attack known as the "Doorknob
Shoot", in which she ran towards her opponent, jumped at them, released
a massive burst of white and violet energy from her body powerful enough
to knock her adversary to the ground and then landed on top of that individual,
thereby incapacitating them. The effectiveness of her "Doorknob Desperate
Attack" as an offensive move remains unknown, as Doorknobdar never
actually got the chance to finish performing it.
Paraphernalia: Doorknobdar wore a glove on her right arm resembling
a series of lockpicks which may have in some way aided in her ability to
lock up and secure things, though this is pure speculation. The glove she
wore on her left arm was attached to a full body shield resembling a prison
door with iron bars, which the Daimon used to bash Sailor Moon repeatedly
after performing her "Doorknob Shoot". However strong it may
have been, the shield was no match for Sailor Moon's "Moon Spiral
Heart Attack", which destroyed both it and Doorknobdar as well.
