History: Much of the early life of the humanoid alien known only as Fiore remains a mystery,
ironically enough, even to Fiore himself. With no knowledge of his origins or even of his homeworld, Fiore spent most of his youth wandering through the vast emptiness of space, alone and unguided, until he finally managed to find his way to Earth between ten and fifteen years ago, both emotionally and physically spent from his long, lonely journey. Exhausted and barely conscious, he was found lying in the rain by Mamoru Chiba - then six years old and still recovering in a nearby hospital from the injuries he had sustained in the car crash that had claimed the lives of both his parents - who took the tired and senseless alien in from the cold. Each sensing a kindred spirit in the other because of the loneliness that fate had relegated them to, the two young boys quickly became the best of friends, taking solace in each other's company and easing the great pain and tragedy that had marred their hitherto short lives.
Unfortunately, their friendship was not meant to last, for Fiore soon found himself having to leave Mamoru behind, as his alien physiology made it impossible for him to survive in Earth's atmosphere for prolonged periods of time. As a parting gift, Mamoru gave the young extraterrestrial the one possession he had with him at the time: a single red rose. Overjoyed and deeply touched by this simple offering, Fiore left Earth and his friend behind, but not before promising that he would one day return with a special gift of flowers, just for him. As harmless and innocent as this promise may have seemed, it was one whose fulfillment would guide Fiore well into his adult life, and also one that would very nearly end in tragedy for them both.
Dedicated to keeping his word, Fiore's search for a special flower for Mamoru led him to visit many different worlds over the following years. It was at some point during this quest - just when is not known - that the young alien happened upon the parasitic flower known as Kisenian. A sentient blossom of unspeakable evil known and feared throughout the cosmos for having destroyed countless worlds in the Milky Way Galaxy alone, Kisenian took advantage of Fiore's weak heart and mind - the product of years of loneliness and isolation - and twisted his emotions into an intense feeling of hatred towards those he felt were responsible for him and Mamoru being alone. Now little more than a living puppet, the alien made his way back to Earth, intent on propagating an energy-draining species of flower on that world, thereby eliminating all life on the planet in retribution for the loneliness he and his friend had been made to suffer.
Having finally arrived on Earth in contemporary times, Fiore was finally reunited with his old friend, Mamoru, who, at the time, was visiting the botanical garden in the city of Tokyo, Japan in the company of both his girlfriend Usagi Tsukino and her friends Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako. Though pleased to report that he had found the perfect flower for him, Fiore did not look favorably upon the fact that Mamoru now had Usagi as a love interest, his intense jealousy and anger towards the latter most likely the result of a combination of Kisenian's influence, his own possessiveness towards the one true friend he had ever had and the disappointment about having apparently been forgotten.
After having knocked Usagi to the ground after she interposed herself between him and Mamoru, Fiore vanished in a hurricane of rose petals, saying only that he intended to keep his promise, though he did not hint at the sinister nature with which he intended to do so. Sending the flower monster Gurishina to determine whether or not the energy of the planet of Earth was suitable for his and Kisenian's purposes and finding that it was, he confronted the Sailor Soldiers directly after they destroyed his agent and easily defeated them in combat. Recognizing Sailor Moon as Usagi Tsukino, Fiore was intent on eliminating the rival for his old friend's affection, believing her to be a inherantly deceptive creature and bad influence on Mamoru who fully intended to abandon him one day, leaving him alone once more. Though momentarily convinced by Tuxedo Mask - whom he likewise recognized in costume as being Mamoru Chiba - to stop what he was doing if he valued their friendship, Fiore resumed his attack after Kisenian used her powers to reinforce his negative emotions, and ended up gravely wounding Tuxedo Mask in the process after the latter took a blow meant for Sailor Moon.
Horrified that he had inadvertently injured his old friend and surprised that the latter loved Sailor Moon enough to risk his life to protect her, Kisenian's hold on Fiore's mind began to wavered, but she quickly reasserted her will over his, whereupon he abducted Tuxedo Mask and placed him inside of a giant crystalline structure filled with restorative liquid in order to help him recover. After having filled him in on what had happened during the years since they had last seen each other, the alien told Mamoru of his plans for revenge on the people of Earth he felt were responsible for their loneliness, informing the Sailor Soldiers of his intentions as well after they arrived at his base - a seed-shaped meteorite headed directly towards Earth - and destroyed another one of his flowers monsters, Kanpanyura, while trying to reach him.
Sending a horde of his flower monsters to battle the Sailor Soldiers, individually at first, and, when this proved to yield too many casualties, as a large, unified, plantlike mass, Fiore managed to capture all of them, with the exception of Sailor Moon. Believing her to have betrayed and sacrificed her friends so that she herself would survive - though her escape was really the result of Sailor Mars' quick thinking - Fiore demanded that she stop destroying his flowers or risk watching her friends suffer pain proportional to the amount she inflicted on his minions. Surprised when she complied to his wishes rather than see her friends hurt, Fiore's monsters vanished and he once again nearly broke free of Kisenian's control, but she managed to reestablish it once more by convincing him that Sailor Moon was trying to steal Mamoru away from him and that the latter would remember their friendship if she was eliminated. Granting him use of the full extent of her powers, Fiore battled the Sailor Soldier and drained her of nearly all of her energy in order to feed his flowers, barely leaving her enough to keep her alive. Convinced that she was deceiving everyone, Fiore intended to finish her off - despite the other Sailor Soldiers' support of Sailor Moon's character - and came dangerously close to succeeding, his attempt stopped only after one of Tuxedo Mask's roses struck him directly in the heart.
Feeling completely abandoned and alone now that even Mamoru had seemingly turned against him, Fiore's strength of will suffered a devastating blow, causing not only all of his monstrous, flowerlike minions to vanish but also the meteorite he and the Sailor Soldiers were on to begin to break apart. The course change brought about as a result sent what was left of the asteroid hurtling towards Earth, where it began to burn up upon reentry into the planet's atmosphere. Though faced with his own imminent death, Fiore seemed content with his fate, since it gave him the satisfaction of knowing not only that no one else would have Mamoru's love and friendship if he could not, but also that his adversaries, the Sailor Soldiers - who lacked the power to escape - would perish with him.
When Sailor Moon tried to use the power of her Illusion Silver Crystal to divert the asteroid's course, Fiore attempted to stop her. Still unconvinced that her concern for her friends' welfare - as well as his own - was genuine and that her reassurance that he was no longer alone was just another attempt at deception on her part, Fiore remained adamant in his belief until the power of the Silver Crystal revealed a startling new truth to him in the form of a vision: the rose that he had received from Mamoru had originally come from Usagi, who, sensing the latter's sadness at his friend's departure, had given it to him in celebration of her brother Shingo's birth. Moved to tears by the revelation that the gift that had given him such great joy and happiness so long ago and that had guided him for the better part of his life was all the result of a single, unselfish act of kindness by Sailor Moon, Fiore was finally released from Kisenian's control and vanished, his body dissipating in a wash of white light.
Following Sailor Moon's death as a result of her having used the full power of the Illusion Silver Crystal, Fiore appeared to Mamoru to thank both of them for having saved his life. In fulfillment of the promise he had made to his friend so long ago, the alien presented him with a blossom known as the Flower of Life - which contained his own energy - and told him to give its nectar to Sailor Moon in order to restore her to life. Once she had been revived, Fiore, now a child once more, once again left Earth for the vastness of outer space. Exactly where he has gone remains uncertain, but it is hoped that Fiore, who had known only sadness and loneliness for most of his life, has found his happiness and peace of mind at last.

Height: Estimated at 5'11'' (180 cm); never accurately measured
Weight: Unknown
Eyes: Blue (human form and alien form)
Hair: Red (human form); bluish green with pink streaks (alien form)
Skin: Green (alien form)

Abilities: A member of an incredibly powerful extraterrestrial race, Fiore displayed a vast array of skills, including teleportation, flight, generating a protective bubble around himself in order to safely travel through the cold vacuum of outer space under his own power and even the ability to generate enormously powerful blasts of repulsive force simply by gesturing with his hands. In addition, he could also increase the length of his fingernails at will, either to form long, tapering claws fully capable of piercing human flesh or cause them to extend indefintely for use as a long range stabbing weapon. He could also apparently manipulate the substance of the meteorite which served as his base to some extent, by causing vines to extend up from it in order to confine and inflict pain on his adversaries, for example. For a short while, he wielded Kisenian's full powers, which not only greatly increased the strength of his own inherant ones, but also allowed him to literally change the face of sections of the asteroid within seconds and gave him the additional ability to drain energy from human beings and cause razor sharp vines to extend from the plantlike mass that covered part of his torso in his powered-up form. The degree of control he had over both the meteorite and his minions was apparently dependant on his will and determination, and began to falter and ultimately fail when his dedication to his cause did.
Paraphernalia: Aside from the meteorite that served and his base of operations, the flower monsters he commanded, and, of course, Kisenian, Fiore also possessed a giant crystal filled with a regenerative liquid of unknown origin capable of healing the injuries of those immersed within it over a certain period of time. Though he had little need for it given his vast reportoire of powers, the alien also summoned a sword he use to battled Tuxedo Mask, which he wielded with a great degree of skill. In addition, Fiore also possessed a blossom known only as the Flower of Life, which contained his energy and whose nectar was powerful enough to restore the dead to life once more.
