History: Leo was a lionlike Youma recruited by Nephrite to play a small yet pivotal role in his plan to eliminate Sailor Moon once and for all, a plan during which he disguised himself as and impersonated Tuxedo Mask. When the masquerade was exposed after he was discovered draining Naru Osaka of her energy by Usagi Tsukino, she quickly changed into Sailor Moon to confront the Dark General, only to have him summon forth Leo from the constellation of the same name.
               Quickly chasing the Sailor Soldier down, Leo might have ended up seriously wounding or even killing her had Tuxedo Mask not knocked him out his pounce by striking him in the face with one of his roses. When Sailor Moon returned the favor by saving Tuxedo Mask from the beast, she discovered, much to her shock, that her "Moon Tiara Action" merely succeeded in stunning the beast, but proved incapable of destroying him.
               Upon recovering, the Youma continued his pursuit, forcing Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon to seek refuge inside of a nearby elevator and fall right into Nephrite's trap. His mission completed, Leo vanished and returned to wherever it was he had been summoned from, though, in the end, both of the Dark General's intended victims managed to escape from his trap and certain death.

Abilities: Aside from the ability to magically appear before Nephrite when summoned and to vanish when his presence was no longer required, Leo had no known supernatural powers, though he was apparently quite a bit tougher than the average Youma since he proved capable of surviving a direct hit from Sailor Moon's "Moon Tiara Action" without being destroyed. Though unsubstanciated, it is quite likely that the difference in stamina, strength, agility and endurance between Leo and an ordinary lion is comparable to the one that exists between most humanoid Youmas and normal human beings as far as these physical qualities and traits are concerned.
