Palm ()

History: Palm was a female Youma recruited by Jadeite to help him gather energy from human beings in order to revive Queen Metallia. To this end, Palm assumed human form and opened a fortune- telling parlor known as the Fortune-Telling House, where she posed as a soothsayer who specialized in reading tarot cards. Hypnotizing her young teenage customers by looking them in the eye, she planted a special card on their person which resulted in their losing all their scruples and inhibitions, causing them to run amok and to generate enormous amounts of what Jadeite referred to as "the energy of rebellious youth" in the process, which the monster then collected for the benefit of the Dark Kingdom.
                Summoning all her victims to the Fortune-Telling House, Palm planned to let her army of juvenile delinquents run rampant throughout the city, but was interrrupted by Usagi Tsukino in her Sailor Moon guise, who had correctly deduced the location of the Youma's base of operations after noticing that Gurio Umino and several of her other classmates had started acting strangely after having visited her establishment. Revealing her true form, Palm sent her minions after the Sailor Soldier, but was distracted after being hit in the face with one of Tuxedo Mask's roses, disrupting her mental hold over them before they could harm Sailor Moon. Following this second interruption, Palm attempted to finish her adversary off herself, but ended up being destroyed by Sailor Moon's "Moon Tiara Action".

Abilities: Aside from being able to assume human form, Palm could manipulate and control small objects - such as her tarot cards, for example - and also possessed a malleable mass of black hair capable of forming clawlike appendages every bit as sharp and deadly as the real thing. In addition, she could hypnotize individuals - at least temporarily - by looking them in the eye, giving her the time she needed to plant one of her special tarot cards on them, and could also direct and control the green-skinned zombies her victims were turned into as a result of the cards' influence on them. This last power was dependant on the strength of Palm's will, and could be broken if she was distracted or otherwise had her concentration broken.
Paraphernalia: By planting a special variant of the tarot card known as "The Devil" on an individual, Palm could cause that person to act according to their desires in a disruptive and anti-social manner, without conscience. Not only would they generate enormous amounts of "the energy of rebellious youth" as a result - which the Youma could then harness with the help of a special master card in her possession - but they would also eventually be reduced to mindless automatons under her complete control. In addition, Palm also used a deck of razor-sharp tarot cards as throwing weapons.
