Unbeknownst to all the survivors of that battle, however, a single Daimon Egg had miraculously managed to survive the devastation and hatched during the course of a fierce lightning storm several days later to release its monstrous occupant. Extremely weak and utterly helpless, the creature slowly crawled towards and took refuge within the remains of the ovenlike device once used by Professor Tomoe to create the Daimons used by Eudial and Mimete and ended up fusing with it as a result. Dubbing herself Renjii, the accidentally created female Daimon - fueled by an extremely powerful instinctive drive to collect pure heart from human beings - began stealing Heart Crystals in large quantities from people all over the city of Tokyo, Japan, an action that did not go unnoticed by either Luna or Artemis, who sent the Sailor Soldiers and Tuxedo Mask to investigate upon learning of the creature's existence and her sinister agenda. During the intense battle which followed, the Daimon easily overpowered her adversaries and might have ended up stealing Sailor Moon's Heart Crystal had it not been for Sailor Chibi Moon, who not only crash landed on the monster's head upon emerging from the timestream, but added insult to injury after her "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" went off right in the creature's face. Enraged, Renjii hurled the Pink Moon Stick at its owner and prepared to resume her attack, but was stunned after being struck in the forehead by one of Tuxedo Mask's roses long enough for Sailor Moon to destroy her with her "Moon Spiral Heart Attack". from the power of flight, Renjii possessed the ability to move at unusually
high velocities, which enabled her to not only scatter her adversaries
by running at them full speed but also to effortlessly dodge all the magical
attacks the Sailor Soldiers attempted to use against her. In addition,
she could also stretch her arms to incredible lengths, allowing her to
grab hold of distant objects or even people, fire an enormous burst of
green energy from the open oven door on her waist that was capable of disintegrating
human hair on contact, and, by removing a cord from her posterior and snapping
off the safety, release a mass of electrical wires from it capable of wrapping
themselves around and electrocuting her opponents on contact. Renjii's
most devastating power by far, however, was her ability to extract
and summon Heart Crystals from human beings over great distances, apparently
