[Spiral Heart Moon Scepter] (original
series)First appearance: Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon S Episode 091 An ornate scepter with a pink shaft and topped with a yellow bow, a red and gold heart-shaped head with a crystal in the center, and a small crown. Sometimes referred to as the rod of legend, the Spiral Heart Moon Rod was created from a combination of both Usagi and Mamoru's love for one another as well as her determination to save both him and the other Sailor Soldiers from the Daimon Nekonelle by fighting alongside of them, a desire which also gave birth to the Cosmic Heart Compact. Originally used as a weapon by Sailor Moon during her "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" - in which she invoked its inherant mystical power by speaking those very same words while performing an elaborate series of ritualistic gestures and movements - she later employed it after evoking a secondary transformation into Super Sailor Moon to perform the more powerful "Spiral Moon Heart Ache" as well. Some time later, exposure to the mystical aura of the magical winged unicorn Pegasus temporarily changed the Spiral Heart Moon Rod into the Kaleido Moon Scope, a transformation that was made permanent after he lent his power to both her and Sailor Chibi Moon so that they might protect beautiful dreams.
