History: Taiyaan was a female Daimon - the product of the fusion of a Daimon Egg with a motorcycle - who in accordance with Kaolinite's orders sought out a young man named Katsutoshi Yamada because of the pure heart he displayed in his enthusiasm for motocross racing. Suddenly coming to life while her victim was still seated on the motorcycle with which her Daimon Egg had fused only moments earlier, Taiyaan took him by surprise and managed to successfully extract his Heart Crystal only to lose it after being struck by the "Deep Submerge" of Sailor Neptune, who promptly returned the pure heart to its rightful owner.
                 Unfortunately for the Sailor Neptune, however, she had unknowingly walked into a trap carefully set by Kaolinite just by appearing on the scene and was quickly overpowered and incapacitated by the Daimon after the latter used her "Double Taiyaan" ability to split into twin identical monsters. Sailor Uranus' subsequent attempt to singlehandedly rescue her friend and partner might well have ended with her sharing her comrade's fate it not been for the timely arrival of Sailor Moon, who managed to save Sailor Neptune from certain death at Kaolinite's hands by using her "Moon Tiara Action" to free the Outer Soldier from her bonds.  
                 When Kaolinite noticed that Sailor Uranus and Sailor Moon did not get along well together, the two Taiyaans, upon being ordered by her to eliminate the Sailor Soldiers, used their "Chaining" attack to bind the two together by the wrists with a special pair of handcuffs. Even though the Daimons initially had the upper hand due to the lack of cooperation between their opponents, the two Sailor Soldiers managed to resolve their differences long enough to successfully elude the twin monsters together and free themselves by tricking their adversaries into using their "Chaining" attack on them a second time. In the end, both Taiyaans were destroyed, one by Sailor Uranus' "World Shaking" and the other by Sailor Moon's "Moon Spiral Heart Attack".

Abilities: The original Taiyaan possessed a star-shaped mark on her forehead capable of emitting a beam of black energy that would a human being's Heart Crystal to emerge from his or her body after being focused on that person's upper torso for a certain period of time, as well as a headlight on her left breast which could be used in the same manner as a real one. She could also change her entire body into a giant motorcycle tire - with only her head remaining intact in the process - and, in this form, could race along the ground at extremely high speeds, strike with enough force to shatter solid stone, and release a thick gray cord used to tie up an individual within seconds by circling around them several times. By invoking a special ability known as "Double Taiyaan", the original Taiyaan could split herself into a pair of mirror image Daimons capable of acting independantly of one another and who, as far as is known, possessed identical powers. As a team, the twin Daimons were able to use their "Chaining" attack, during which, by spinning around their own axes while in tire form, they each emitted a golden energy ring that would individually encircle one wrist of two separate adversaries who would then become bound to one another after a metal chain appeared between the two rings to connect them and solidify to form a pair of handcuffs.
