Black Dragons
Black Dragons are one of the most evil of their kin and are very quick to anger. They enjoy dank dismal surroundings and heavy vegitation so they usally take up residance in swamps and dark jungles. They always prefer darkness to light so sometimes they may even be found deep underground. The black dragons a extreamly cunning and malevolent, which makes up for their slight lack of intellegence compared to other dragons. Make no mistake though, a black dragon is a worthy opponent to any adventurer. The black dragons breath is of acid so theyare sometimes hesitant to use it agianst easy pray, so they don`t damage any treasure, or ruin a good meal.

Description: Still in the early stages of life, Gorthyrmus has shown surprising strength and resolve. In an early duel with a adult dragon he struck the blue dead by collapsing the cave ceiling onto her. This small black has been given the name BlightMane by the local populace for his scorched earth tactics. Making regular demands of the nearby settlements, and destroying crops without hesitation or possibility of escape, he keeps the humans of the area in line. Along his spine, unlike most blacks, runs a solid red line. This line is believed to be the remenant of foriegn blood within his veins. Many sages believe that Gorthyrmus is in fact a half-breed of red and black. This union giving him superior intelligence and the ruthless nature the red's are notorious for.
