DBZNY first brought you the story of the current Toonami and Sailor Moon changes / additions months ago. Unfortunately, I was not able to post a last second reminder. I figured the people who were interested probably would remember anyway. However, just in case and for summary's sake - I decided to do a news story about it.

First off, as of this past Monday, Toonami is now 3 hours in duration. So, what shows have been added to fill this extra time? The Toonami programming block now begins at 4:00 PM and runs until 7:00 PM. In addition to adding a few old Toonami favorites, there is also one completely brand new show to US audiences, Hamutaro. Hamutaro, called Hamtaro on Toonami, is a very popular anime in Japan about well... hamsters. I thought it was interesting that Cartoon Network decided to put this show on Toonami, but I suppose a little diversity in the program line-up couldn't hurt. Ok, ok, so you want the exact times of the shows right? Ok, here we go:

Weekday Toonami Showtimes:

4:00 PM - Hamtaro

4:30 PM - Zoids

5:00 PM - Batman Beyond

5:30 PM - Power Puff Girls

6:00 PM - Dragon Ball

6:30 PM - Dragon Ball Z

* Titles in bold print denote an anime series.

The next thing I want bring to everyone's attention is that Sailor Moon is back on Cartoon Network. It's now on at 3:30 PM, that's right before Toonami. It started off with the first episode, but I'm unsure how long many eps it will run. In addition to this news, ADV Films will be releasing more Sailor Moon DVDs this month.

Refer to the DBZNY Anime On US TV Schedule to see alternate times for some of the shows, such as Hamutaro.
