(We fade into to see a side view of Ranma's face looking to the left. We cut to a side view of
Ryouga's face looking to the right. We then cut to a front view of Akane's face frowning. We finally
cut to a full shot of the three standing, Ranma and Ryouga facing each other and looking fairly beat
up. They are both standing in battle stance while Akane is off to the side frowning at the both of
them. The area is on the top of a cliff and the sound of the ocean is heard.)
Akane:Would you two please stop this stupid fighting!? One of you is going to get seriously
hurt.
Ranma:(Glances to Akane and then back at Ryouga.)Can't do that Akane. This has been a long
time coming and one of us is going to walk away from this the winner.
Ryouga:That's right Akane. I'm sorry but we have to do this.(His battle aura flares up and he begins
to form a chi sphere in his hands.)
Ranma:(His battle aura also forms and he begins to form a chi sphere as well.)Go on Akane. Get
out of here. I promise I won't let either of us get really hurt.
Akane:(Tears forming in her eyes she slowly backs away from the two.)You....you stupid
IDIOTS!!!
Ryouga:(Winces and continues to form his chi sphere. He whispers to himself.)I'm sorry Akane. I
do this for you.(His face contorts as he puts all his effort and launches the chi sphere at
Ranma.)SHI SHI HOUKOUDAN!!!!
Ranma:(He launches his own chi sphere at Ryouga.)MOUKO TAKABISHA!!!!
(The two spheres collide in between the two fighters and explode cancelling each other out. The
screen goes white for a moment and then the light fades to reveal Ranma and Ryouga laying on
their backs on the ground. Akane is not seen anywhere as Ranma and Ryouga get up.)
Akane:(From over the edge of the cliff.)RANMA! RYOUGA! HELP!!
Ranma & Ryouga:AKANE!(Both quickly rush to the side of the cliif and hit their knees. They look
over the edge and see her grasping onto the side a couple of feet down looking up terrified. Both
quickly reach down and each grab one of her hands tightly. They pull her up to safety and set her
on the ground both hugging her tightly.)
Ryouga:Akane. Oh God Akane I'm so sorry.
Ranma:Akane are you alright?
Akane:I'm...I'm okay.(She smiles a little.)I'm okay. Would you two please stop fighting!? For
me?
Ranma & Ryouga:(The two look at each other as they kneel next to Akane and then back to her.
They both only nod not saying anything both realizing them fighting just nearly got Akane
killed.)
Akane:(She smiles and moves to stand up.)Good. Thanks you two. I'm glad you've decided to stop
fighting.(As she pushes herself up from kneeling the edge of the cliff they are on quickly crumbles
out from beneath her.)AAAHHH!!!
Ranma:(Lurches forward to grab Akane's hand.)AKANE!
Ryouga:(Lurches forward half lay on solid ground and grabs Ranma's legs seeing him about to fall
as well.)Ranma!
Akane:(Falls Ranma having missed her face showing how scared she is as she
falls.)RANMAAAAA!!!! RYOOOOOUGAAAAA!!!!
Ranma & Ryouga:(Both of them shut their eyes before Akane hits the ground.)
(The scene abruptly changes to that of a dimly lit bedroom with two beds sitting facing each other.
The occupants of each bed suddenly sit bolt upright at the same time. It is Ranma and Ryouga,
one in each bed.)
Ranma & Ryouga:AKANE!!!!(Both sit breathing deeply and for a few moments and then Ranma
reaches over and clicks on a lamp by his bed.)
Ranma:The dream again?
Ryouga:Yeah.(Sighs lowering his head.)Why didn't we listen to her when we had the chance?
Ranma:Because she was right all along. We were idiots.(He grunts a bit getting out of bed and
heading over towards the door.)Get the radio would ya.
Ryouga:Okay.(He gets out of bed and grabs a portable radio switching it on as he follows Ranma
outside and down the hall into a totally bare room. Ryouga sets the radio down at about center of
the room and follows Ranma to sit down in front of the closet. Both sit as the music from the radio
begins. They both reach up and pull open the closet door to reveal a small shrine with a smiling
picture of Akane in the middle. The singing from the radio suddenly begins as the two pull a small
shoe box out of the closet and open it showing more pictures of Akane as well as letters and other
small momentoes of her.)
Radio(Singing):
Somewhere inside,
A box in a closet,
There's a secret that nobody knows.
Letters and pictures,
That I know I should throw out,
But I just can't let them go.
(Ranma and Ryouga both pick up picture after picture staring sadly at them.)

(Ryouga drops a picture he is holding of a smiling Akane and hunches over covering his face in his
hands and shaking. Ranma lowers his head a bit and then reaches over and puts his arms around
Ryouga holding him as he cries.)

And I guess in a way that you won't.

(Ryouga stops crying and looks up to the framed picture of Akane looking happy and careful and
gently reaches out touching the glass for a brief moment and then brings his hand back. Ranma
gently pats his back.)

(The music dies off leaving Ryouga and Ranma sitting in silence. After a few moments Ranma lifts
his head and looks to the picture of Akane sadly and whispers.)
Ranma:Akane. We're sorry. We will never forgive ourselves for what we've done and we'll always
love you and carry you with us in our hearts. See you soon.
(Ranma reaches and slowly closes the closet doors our view focussing on them. We move
forwards through the doors and stop looking at the framed picture of Akane. We slowly fade to
black seeing that.)
