(We fade in to see Akane storm into her room and slam the door shut. She stomps over and lays
down on the bed glaring to the ceiling.)
Akane:That....IDIOT! How dare he compare my cooking to that?! Stupid macho jerk!(Her
expression softens a bit.)Why can't he just see how hard I try? Why can't he be....why can't he be
nicer?(Her anger bleeds away leaving her sad. She sighs and sits up a bit as soft gentle music
slowly begins to play in the background.)Ranma why do you have to go and say those things and
ruin a nice moment.(She slowly stands and turns looking at herself in the mirror and begins to
sing.)
It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart,
Without saying a word, you can light up the dark,
Try as I may I could never explain,
What I hear when you don't say a thing,
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you'll catch if ever I fall.
You say it best, when you say nothing at all.
(She turns and slowly walks over to the window and looks out to see Ranma practicing hitting a
post looking more than a little mad at himself. She watches him and continues singing.)
All along I can hear people talking about us.
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd.
Old Mister Webster could never define,
What's being said between your heart and mine.
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you'll catch if ever I fall.
You say it best, when you say nothing at all.
(Ranma stops his attack and turns looking up at Akane as she looks down at him. She smiles a
little to him and he returns the smile back up to her.)
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me.
A touch of your hand says you'll catch if ever I fall.
You say it best, when you say nothing at all.
(The music slowly dies down and fades away as the screen fades to black with just Ranma and
Akane looking to each other and smiling lightly.)
