Bio

Jii-chan - full body 　Kagome's grandfather. He's obsessed with the history and tradition associated with the family shrine. Unfortunately, his precious historical artifacts have a tendency to get broken or turn out to be useless. He also seems to enjoy thinking up barely plausible excsues for Kagome to miss school.

Current status

　Kagome's grandfather runs the Higurashi family shrine. It's assumed that he can't pass through the well into the Sengoku period, which is probably just as well.

Special powers, etc.

　None known, unless you count thinking up hundreds of bizarre excuses for Kagome to be missing school. Reasons he's used include back strain, diabetes, gout, beriberi, rheumatism, and neuralgia.
